The point of the post, since someone questioned it, is, that it’s December way at the end of the cycle. Why not try using some other pitchers?
After all, on All Star, you can get people out with a variety of pitchers. Hell, I run all sorts of lineups out there. Sure, I lost to P5 DeGrom with a grind squad of postseason players. I had my chances but couldn’t cash in.
I get that people want to win, but I don’t think you are really doing yourselves any favours this way.
If I had a P5 I'd wanna use him.
Its weird but when I get my guys to P5 I stop using them lol. And start working on some more. Its like something I have to do to complete the game or something. Only P5 I keep using is Vlad Guerrero. Because there isnt anyone that can replace him.
A bit on a tangent, but y’all ever seen a P5 reliever? I don’t think I’ve seen a single one.
I have both Eckersley and Rivera at P5. Pitchers are the easiest to get because both their pitching and batting count.
How many times do you bat with a RP???
Hopefully twice minimum if I pitch them 3 innings so they get the save (additional PXP for saves).
Kudos to you, that is dedication! SP are pretty easy to parallel but not RP since I pitch them shorter than 3 innings and rarely bat with them.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m trying to win, but I generally avoid exploits and tactics I feel are cheap. The only cheap I like is Cheap Trick.
A game in the 5-600’s to me is not so imperative to win that I will change HOW I play but I get that Trout is on the line for some of you.

I’ve got Kluber P5 #76, oh and all the other META pitchers are P5 as well. And my whole god squad line up is P5 to include my bench. Oh and my entire relief core is P5. I’m thinking you guys probably don’t want to play my team. Sorry but I had to troll this thread. Lol

I get the impression I wouldn't want to play your team anyway because you would probably work me with an inferior team of bronzes much less your suped up p5 God squad. But who knows, maybe that would be good for me to improve.

For guys like me, in my 40's, outlier is a killer. Reaction time isn't there anymore. So if I can't hit DG or any of the outlier players, that's why. Not because I don't know what's coming.
Reaction time being relative to age is a real thing, and it sucks.

Yeah, this has been said already. No, I don’t particularly want to face P5 DeGrom. I was also suggesting that those players in the 500’s still using him might benefit from trying to win with some other pitchers, especially ones without outlier.
