Have trout…not hitting well

So I earned trout and I’m am sucking with home. I have zero hope of grinding trea. What is the turn around time if I sell em trout to buy turner?
Also any tips on how to hit with trout?I think the trick to hit with Trout is to sit inside and wait the inside fastball. Don’t quote me on that.

Honestly, I think a lot of us have a tendency to press when we get a Griffey, Trout, Babe, Pujols or some other card we expect to perform miracles. It took me 16 ABs just to get a hit with Griffey. But I just stuck him in my lineup day after day and eventually it clicked. I think with Trout, just don't use power or contact but use X or whatever the equivalent is on Xbox and sit on inside fastballs and breaking balls up in the zone. That could be used on just about any hitter hahaha, but I would maybe move him down in the lineup just so your own psyche isn't to hit grand slams every time but just to contribute.
Also, I don't think the Trea Turnaround is too long, people have been winning and selling him at a fast clip and when the new Event comes out next Friday, he'll be in rewind packs.

Pitchers don’t like to throw strikes to Trout. Just be patient for your pitch.

When I'm hot with Griffey, I'm on fire {3-4 HRs a game) . When I'm not, I'm absolutely freezing (0 for 4 a couple games in a row). It's 100% me but he's definitely awesome.
Trout, I might try once more but I could see me just leaving him to collect e-dust.

One of the cards I paid the most stubs for was 99 Arenado. Currently, against the CPU, he has a lower batting average for me than Adam Wainwright.
I am not sure what the issue is.

Oh man, I had that issue with Arenado for a while too. I started getting more aggressive with him, sitting inside fastball because he has that closed off stance but a quick bat.
I know it's not like real life where if you hit him down in the lineup the pitchers make adjustments, but my mentality changed when I moved his spot from 3 to 6. I don't know, what level are you playing against CPU on?

This. Happens to me every time.
With Griffey, my online OPS started out like around .500 to .600. It's climbed steadily and now I'm up to .925.
Trea has been the same.

I sucked w trout live series and his awards card last year and I sucked w his live Again this year. I just accept I’ll never be Any good with him. I do hit good with turner so far
-
It might be because his vision isn't that high. I kinda feel the same wboit Tatis. One game I'll go 4 for 4 with those guys. Next game maybe 1 hit.
-
I have always had trouble with trout. I decided to sell him (I assume I can earn him again with the ext RS update). I crushed with trea. I put an order in at 899.
-
I do have Griffey! He immediately crushed for me. Mookie took me until P3. So it a possibly that trout will turn out later on. On the other hand Trea crushed for me in TA3, and I don’t have enough time to grind the remaining 16 wins. Hopefully I can earn trout again next RS reset

Try not to pay attention to his annoying crowding of the plate and key on his toe tap. I sucked with him too until I started using his toe tap to time the pitcher.

I never noticed his toe tap. Do you start your swing when he finishes his tap?

Trout and Mookie are pretty much the only right handed bats I do well with. I feel confident with Trout and I am looser. There are a few players in the game I’ve found that No matter the situation I’m glad they are up to bat. Trout is one of those players. Like a jump shooter I could go 0-15 with him but that next AB will be it

My theory is that your issue is a subconscious one—you know in the back of your noggin that you’re batting with Trout. That part of your brain thinks that you’re gonna send the ball over the fence with one big swing. Perhaps that subconscious overconfidence is leading to poor performance.
Just relax and try to forget that you’re batting with Trout. Maybe that will help. Let me know how it goes.

Yeah basically the finish of his toe tap when his foot is landing is when I swing. It has to be one of the better load ups in the game for timing.

Are you saying that you swing simultaneously with his toe tap or is that your cue to get ready? I've never consciously timed his swing with his toe tap, but I'm definitely gonna look at that tonight. He's one of my favorite players this year and I hit pretty well with him but would love to improve.

Was able to buy Trout a few days ago and Tre came in yesterday. I have been hitting really well with Tre, but Trout is sucking for me. He only has 2 hits in 20 AB's. I know it's a small sample size and I will keep playing with him, but I hit so well from day 1 with his LS card.
