Turner or Trout?

I only have a little over a million stubs, and I do still have a good amount of patience (at least for offline play), but the skill is the more questionable one as it relates to online play.

Turner has more orders at 1 mil right now, I think he'll hold value longer than Trout. It'll be a while before either of them come down, maybe they never will lol, I don't think many people are selling at this point. I got Turner last week and considered selling him but decided he's more valuable than the stubs to me at this point in the game. Anyhow, if I were you I'd buy Turner, cause I think Trout will come down in price sooner

Thank you for confirming. This was sort of my thinking. I put in a bid for Turner but I know it will be a while before that comes through. In the meantime, I will give the event a shot. Does anyone know when the Event will end? Will it end on the 28th with the new event announced or do they run more than one event at a time?

It ends on the 28th, and then a new event with new rewards starts. It's worth a shot to get to 25 wins, it's not super difficult. Like you said it'll take quite a while for your order to go through, so if you want to use him soon you'll have to earn him.

OMG. Crazy how after reading this, I booted up and my Turner order went through! I think it's been less than a week! Maybe because of 2 random people I helped out today! Crazy!!

Gave this a shot today and it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. I lost 1-0, hitting on line is very different than offline with the lag of the pitches. Was way ahead of most pitches. Will give it a shot again later tonight.

I don’t know if I will get Trout or not. With Mantle being so good this year, Mays, and Griffey; I don’t know where to play Trout. I’m sure I will end up getting him. I would have had a tougher decision if they made Bellinger as good as they did the last two years. That card was amazing.

Yeah, this is my dilemma. I couldn't hit at all with Mays, so Griffey is my preferred LF now. That would be the only place I would put Trout. Mantle and Ruth are not going anywhere.

Me neither. Before this event I had played maybe 5-10 BR games this season and maybe 5-10 online games last season. I just got Trea last night. Took me about 10 entries to get him over about a week's time so you can do it. There are alot of non-online gamers going for Trea so you will fair better than you think

I think Griffey is the best in the game. I just really like his swing. Either way, sounds like we have the same dilemma.

I just got Turner. I’ve had Trout. I’ll let you know what I think after a couple games. I already think Turner will be the choice. He’s so versatile and even though his speed is 99 like other fast players Trea just seems way faster than that,

I still have my buy order in for Turner. I would estimate there are 500 or so ahead of me still. I am almost back up to 600k in stubs to, so should have enough to get Trout as well soon, so may not have to choose.

I have both and they are both really good. If I can only have one, I think I would take Turner. 2nd base has alot fewer options than the OF. Plus Trea has more position flexibility.
