AL West Showdown

I know this forum is saturated with Showdown hate, but I will add to it a little bit.
Just failed the AL West showdown for the 6th time. Only advanced past Hendricks once. 6000 stubs down the dunny (not including the rewards of course). I think it says more about me as a player than the game itself, but GD I am sick of flying out all the time.
Still, I'm a sucker. Will try once more and then back to MTO for me to get Gallo. -
My advice. Stack alot of lefties.. cuz showdowns are Ohtani and Verlander .
To me Ohtani is harder than Verlander..
I've beat this enough to get Olson, Ohtani and Correa.. doing it 1 last time to get Houston and As TA to 70 each..

Get 1 silver pitcher and possibly 2 high silver Relievers. -

Ohtani is definitely tougher than Verlander.

That's the last time I'm picking Clear For Takeoff perk which boosts exit velo on first two pitches because I was swinging and missing early on and his confidence grew and grew.

awesome congrats to you on getting Rizzo..Yes they are intense for sure but fun and aggravating at the same time lol..I love Olson middle in he destroys the baseball

Ok, I got past Ohtani and only used three outs. Crazy. Wish me luck for the remainder.

The AL West is by far the easiest showdown to complete.

That's what makes this so frustrating. It feels like should be easy, but I keep getting dumped out.

The AL Central was a pain though, with Kopech as the final boss; Verly throws a ton of balls so he’s easier to drain. Also the West has lots of good hitters compared to the Central, if you can get Edgar Martinez, take him even as a RH

I've done 8 total and no gold or diamonds in any of those packs.

Biggest key to the bosses is swing with two strikes. Make the pitchers throw tons of strikes. Plus showdown is annoying because of two things, great defense and the pitchers ability to dot .

Are the divisions easier than the first inning? I’ve tried divisions twice and got to the final boss each time (only to lose). I did the AL Central and NL West. I’ve tried the first inning many times with no luck. I think I’ve got to the final boss once.
So are divisions easier than first inning? How would you rank the ease of the division showdowns?

I gotta disagree, the NL central having Hader as the final boss. I hate hitting lefties, but when he throws 90% fastballs and gets gassed really quick it becomes pretty doable.

The AL West has so many amazing bats though, and I’ve found the moments in between to have easier requirements as well.
Hendriks, Ohtani, and Verlander are all super easy to score off too.
