I’m guessing he meant to say quirks.

Quirks don't really matter, except Outlier

No, you are not alone...

I'm bad with Hank, and may sell him. The Big Hurt, Jimmie Foxx last year, Mookie's LS (Haven't done the collection for him), was bad with Clemente as well. Didn't even finish the FOD Program because I knew I'd do nothing with him. I'm God awful with Bogaerts and swing too early with Harper.
Most times it's the swing. Sometimes it's us. People rave about the Stanton WC card, but I'm too early with him as well.
It is what it is.
I still drop my PCI, and need therapy, because it's a product of being a low ball hitter irl. I'm used to 'dropping down' to meet the ball, but it results in pop-ups and fly outs. -

Yes, I did. Sorry.
They very much do. Breaking ball hitter, daytime/nighttime player all impact stats. We just don't know how much.

the hitting mechanics this year with timing needing to be practically perfect & as well being squared up on makes it so freaking hard to hit with ANY card. It's the game modding more then it is you. Yes you may need to improve your own personal game playing skills. However I feel it's 21 that is made so much harder this year. SS, Elite, Post Season, Veterans, Rookie Cards I played with in previous years that are literally the same as this year are not producing for me like they did in previous years with 20, 19, 18 & 17. So It's really 21 itself with its new mechanics & modding of how the game plays which makes it so much harder.
Does anyone else feel same way?

Incorrect! There are plenty of quirks that have active and passive abilities beyond being just a sticker that says "this guy has 80 power, here have the bomber perk".

Being under the ball this year is better anyways. At least a fly ball is only good for one out. Seems like you have about a five percent chance of a grounder making it out of the infield and if you have a runner on base you get thrown out at first on the turn by a step every time due to the algorithm slowing down your runner….even if he has 99 speed.

Am I the only one that sucks with amazing cards, like im batting around .150 with Mantle, Hank, Frank. But im batting around .600 with cards like Topps Now Eddie Rosario(granted, he is my favorite player), 98 Chris Taylor.
Nope sds nerfs high profile card and bumps the more obscure players.

I tend to push or pull my PCI as if it were directional hitting if I wanna shoot for the opposite field or pull the ball. Now it's just a bad habit I have to focus on adjusting. And no I do not want to switch to directional hitting.
That said I am hit or miss (pun intended) with amazing cards. Sometimes I mash right out of the gate like with Mookie and Chipper, others I stink up the place like with Mike Schmidt or Piazza. I know a lot of it has to do with the pressure we put on ourselves to hit perfectly with certain cards. The swing and stance are huge influencers as well. Personally I'm much better with the more modern players (for the most part) and struggle with super old school legends, especially those with long swings. Example: I am far better with the TA3 cards than the TA4 cards for the just part.

Goodness, this is so true. It's up to us to lay off the seemingly unavoidable setup DP grounder, but it's hard at times.

Agreed!!People overlook the fact that a hitter qwirk can offset a pitcher's qwirk vise versa!
Example: Pitcher has Road/daytime qwirk, batter has Home/day qwirk this will offset the qwirks if said batter is at home.
