I remember playing it and hating the movement. The guns felt fantastic, but just the general speed of the movement felt way to quick. Plus I hated the score streak system, and still do.

Haven’t played a CoD online since the 360 games. Lobbies were ruthless and you needed a thick skin. The good old days. Now you tell someone they suck and you get a 3 day communication ban.

So your example of a better business model is to use a game that also has an annual release schedule that has a strong online component with micro transactions.
Also as a recommendation don't use any product publishing by Activision as their business practice towards their own company are not the model you want to follow
