Except in this case it’s literally impossible. You can’t choose who you sell a card to, so he just has to have the highest bid.

That I am aware of. I just have never had good luck with ever completing the angels set. Trout is the last card I need and of course he has to be the hardest.
I just wish I could get him but it doesn't seem like I will. -

No I get it don't get me wrong..Of course no one in their right or wrong mind would give Trout up unless it was a sale on the market..I thought it funny he asked regardless but never hurts to ask

Gotta be lucky or spend a ridiculous amount of money. I had the luck last year, pulled him 3 times. I’m sure I’ll have to be flipping on the market for a bit to make the stubs for him this year.

I had about 120k stubs and decided to sell yelich (pulled), sale (pulled) and alonso (purchased) to get him. I've never had trout in DD and heard this is the best his live series has been. He'll remain there until the fall when the SS outfield becomes stacked with high vision cards.

also - i bought the digital deluxe edition but was otherwise NMS. Obviously pulling yelich was a nice insertion of stubs. The FotF cards really downplay the argument that Trout's value could be spent on a multitude of players. Once you start filling up your lineup with FotF cards, as well as the XP reward cards, then your lineup would still have diamond options at every position.

Gotta commit to the grind my friend. Just do everything you can and sell all you earn, eventually you’ll have enough stubs to buy him.

I'm trying to sell mine but the game wont let me. Says I am either using him or I need to unsquad him. Even though he is not in my roster or squad .

This is the first year I’ve completed the Angels set. Luckily I had some stubs saved up and got Arenado in a twitch drop pack then sold Arenado and got Trout. Good luck! It’s rough out there.

Save all your free stubs you get, Go Do as much as you can in the TA a lot of free packs. I have pulled plenty of Diamonds out of the free packs. I pulled Sale last night, If that is the only player you want sell off any card you can that you earn from XP, Innings programs, etc... The game has only been out a little over a month. If I would have saved all the stubs I earned I would have had Trout already.

I'm definitely kicking myself for buying so many packs. I'm finally on my way up though in stubs. I think I made close to 55k over the weekend.

I need 14 more teams to finish collections, I Most of my the teams is just needing Diamonds and a few Golds. I am not buying the Golds until I get the Diamonds.

I am off to a good start today. I am was up 5,000 in 2 hour just taking a break.
