Commons & Bronze Cards Sold Out???
-
I'm trying to complete team collections but I'm finding that a handful of teams have a common or bronze card that can't be bought, and the sell now prices are around 1,000 stubs! (very expensive for a common)
I don't remember this problem in MLB 20. If someone who's been playing the game longer than I have can explain how I can get these cards to complete collections, I'd appreciate it.
Suddenly a 62-Common card is the new Trout, LOL.
-
Yes, during the season this happens all the time when new players are added to the rosters. Didnt see it much last year because they only played for 2 Months.
-
This happenned last year too whenever a new card was added during an update. If you put in a 1000 stub order it should only take a day or so for the order to fill. Unfortunately aside from pulling the card in a pack that's all you can do
-
The issue is people added to the 40 man roster. These people don't have any cards in the game when they are not on the 40 man. SDS needs to do a much better job at circulating these cards.
-
The added cards are in short supply when they are first added to rosters. The good news is the price is capped at $1000.
-
Never thought a few bronze players would get in the way of me getting Chipper...
-
So I completed the entire Live Collection in 2 hours on a sub account from nothing to all after the last flash sale, all but minus 2 cards, the Angels guy and Giants Kazmir.. With 2500+ order on Kazmir and over 3000 for the Angels guy, it literally took only about a day and a half for both order to complete for 2500 stubs. Super fast for that many orders.....just put in you buy orders....it wont take too long.

Why should SDS do a better job of circulating?
These players have the same option of appearing as any other card of their rating. Should they just give the cards to everyone?
This is something that happens throughout the entire year. Waiting until Sept to finish the collection is playing with fire due to roster expansion, which cause more rookies to be called up who don't have cards yet.
I think a week ago Jake Petricka had about 7,000 plus orders for 2500. Today that number is down to 1,300. The cards will show up in packs. The orders will be filled. All that is required is putting in a buy order and being patient.

Thank you ebbets. Was starting to get discouraged
-
This is why I try to wait until Friday to open up my show packs I gathered thru the week. I’ve helped a good amount of people get some of these cards. I’ve also profited a good bit.

In these economic times, it's a supply chain issue. It's why I won't be able to get the latest cabbage patch kid for Christmas.

I'm guessing 90% of the people in this forum don't know what a Cabbage Patch Kid is... Or Toys R Us for that matter.

The big cabbage patch kid boom was a few years before my time. I did get a Teddy Ruxpin. I hated that creepy thing. When the batteries got low he started talking like a drunk uncle

Just buy a few Flatliners packs.
You should get many -
Jhonathan Diaz is more valuable than trout.....sigh......no chipper, or ortiz, over jhonathan diaz.....9000 buy orders at 2500 each...wow
-
Its supply and demand. SDS controls initial supply on new cards. If they hold back, demand overwhelms supply. SDS needs to not hold down supply on [censored] 60 cards.

They're going to release them at the same rate as they do any other 60. If you need it, put in an order for 2500 and wait like anyone else that needs it.

Do you have any proof that they are actually doing that?
I did not think so. -
