Happy Holidays everyone!
Last night my buy order for Prospect Joe Adell went through allowing me to complete offline DD. I have now completed every player program including extreme for Gehrig, Ruth, Postseason, Monthly etc. I have completed every conquest map, every moment (including cap, Tops Now, etc.) and every collection, including live series (and free agents), equipment , stadiums, every Trout collection and I am 100% on all Stage 4 Team Affinity and have collected every player who can be prestiged, including every inning boss. My only incomplete task in all of DD is the prestige collection which can’t be accomplished as an offline player, save for the 5 I have from the XP reward path. I’ll probably never have the time to do this again in the future. Anyone else complete everything in DD?

I think it’s funny how predominantly online players say that offline players don’t need prestige cards to use against the CPU because the 3 point increases don’t matter that much anyway.....Then they turn around and say they don’t want to play prestige cards that have been earned by grinding offline. Does it really matter that much online if it wouldn’t matter offline?
Salty offline only player here saying none, because I'm not allowed to Prestige any of my players offline.
Are you referring to the "always intense" Matt Chapman?
The only card that never leaves my bench is Mondesi Flashback POTM 85 OVR. That's because he can pinch run, steal a base and stay in 7 different positions and not hurt you if he has to hit again. I also keep Santana most of the time because he can play catcher first or third. I like versatility on my bench.
Of course. The card isn't worth anything to anyone other than those of us who want to complete the collection.
Play the Red Sox with your #5 to get their lefty Johnson. Pick a pitcher for you in the 5 slot that you dont care to take a loss by disconnecting.. Put Jackie at lead off and play on veteran. Take the 1st AB then quit and restart till you get er done. Took me about an hour.

I'm a big fan of Brandon Lowe in showdown, love his swing
I'm on the Lowe train too!
Same experience with Banks. Bought and sold him 3 times trying to make it work, but sometimes you have to let go. 200 ABs is plenty buddy, you gave him an honest shot!

The AL West would only have four.
This comment is glorious!
Im a righty but hit better with lefties. Im short and hit much better with short players. Maybe there is a little something to that. I will say I hit Better in righty vs righty matchups than I do left vs left. Perhaps that is having a ton more reps vs righties in real life? Maybe no real translatable real life experience but it is something I am also curious about!
I for one love CAS. I spent many hours early this year creating 7 or 8 stadiums that I play in frequently. With that said, I’m an offline player and don’t have issues with game play that online players complain about. Therefore, I appreciate where they spent the time and I hope it gets an upgrade next year.
I generally steal at the first opportunity from the team holding the stronghold I plan to attack first. In my opinion, if you can handle Veteran level conquest then you can probably win a majority on All-Star as well. For average players HOF puts you at a greater risk of having to replay games if you lose in order to meet those steal X fans goals.
I am retired military. 27 years, but have a contractor job now at age 49. I play a lot, but all offline!
Why would you ever take a pitch in any 3 ball count when doing hitting moments other than those rewarding getting on base?
Prior to the pitch, push the right stick directly right to lock in your preference to bunt to that side. Then hold the left stick all the way down and to the right (SE) while you bunt. If the pitch is in the strike zone, you will bunt it toward the second baseman 80% of the time.
As previously stated, anytime you do a collection, lock in every card that says no sell first. Then you can see how many more cards you need to complete the collection and choose what else to lock in based on value. Lock in the cheapest cards first allowing some flexibility to sell the expensive cards later if needed.
