Your tag is a dead giveaway that you hatched a year after. Still a very fun and interesting to say the least part of Mets history.
You won't see a cast of characters like that on a MLB team ever again.

What does this program look like?
-
I was lucky and blessed to be old enough during this era. Surreal!
I was working at Burger King in Times Square (Not there anymore)
I was in the grill area during Game 6. I had my small radio. I was scheduled to be off for game 7. Problem was, it looked like we'd lose the WS in 6.
I just sat down on the floor with my radio. It was eerily quiet in the grill area, because the place was kind of packed because you know TS. Always filled with tourists & regulars. I had on a really ugly BK shirt, as I remember.
Time was running out after the Dave Henderson HR. I remember no one in the place had a clue that a WS game was going on. I remember going in the dining area, looking for reactions after the Hendu HR. No one knew.
I went back to the grill area and slumped down, thinking it was over. The incredible dream season was going to be a letdown, even after escaping the Astros and Mike Scott in the NLCS.
I gave in and convinced myself that it was cool that the RedSox would be champs. Then, well you know what happened!
I remember when it was over, I ran out on the streets screaming, yelling, jumping up and down, but I'll never ever forget that while TS was packed with tourists NO ONE had a clue, so I looked stupid being the only one celebrating!
It was INCREDIBLE!!!!
Then I was off for game 7. Watched it with my younger brother that was nowhere near as hardcore a fan I was, but when the final out was recorded, we hugged.
I still have the '86 champs t-shirt today!! -
On a side note, we had hope in '83 when Straw came up, then real hope when Dwight came along in '84. One thing I'll always remember him saying was 'The Cubs are on my list,' as in a team he has to beat! I think we got Keith in '83 as well and he helped teach us how to win. Then when we got Gary Carter, incredibly, we had a nice 1985, and you knew something special was brewing, but lost the division to the Cardinals, I think. We were once in the same division!
Then 1986 came along. I think it was about 6 games into the season where I sensed 'something.' I was on a paint job with my Dad. He'd always have a game on radio, TV, whatever.
They made a comeback in a game that made you feel this team is special.Sorry for all of this long winded stuff, but I was there! Even went to the ticker tape parade. There were no bathrooms, so it was a little rough, lol

It looks like a decent card tbh, Great speed for a first baseman and good contact,
-
Is it to much to ask that the CPU pitcher throws strikes? I mean on moments where you need 2 XB hits and the pitcher drills you on the first pitch of the at bat I personally find that really annoying

It happened again. SDS could you give the Nationals pitchers a bit less control? Just asking for a friend.

I love when u hit the ball into the gap needing xbh and the base runner doesn’t go ahead of u

They just stand there admiring your drive and then you end up on second on top of them like wtf are you still doing here? Very annoying.
The moment for Gary Carter in the Keith Hernandez program is prime example for this, it took me about 10 trys 5 of which was beacuse the runners refused to move or 1 would score and the other would get to 3rd base and just stop

The baseball gods were on my side with this one, passed every mission first try! Then Nolan Ryan showed up to restore balance… 10 tries later I finally beat that one lol.

The usual moments and play a game on All Star vs. the Mets. The card hits way better than his past cards. It was super easy to get it done.

Lucky, the Nolan Ryan one took me 45 trys.

It was lucky, defender dove for the ball in left and missed.
