I can't hit with Chipper. I plug him the 3- hole every chance I get, but he's still 1-for or 0-for for me.

I unlocked him this afternoon and am struggling so far. Edmonds, Rodriguez and Gonzalez have been much better. Gonna give him a much bigger sample size before disregarding completely though.

I've had more success early with this year's vs. Last. I was absolutely garbage with him last year I feel they fixed whatever was wrong with his swing

Yeah I can’t hit with mantle that well. The only HR I have with him is an off the PCI and late home run

This is true. Up until his 99 coming out, Mantle's 95 was still in my starting Lineup. He has the most HR's on my team and the best BA. I just couldn't take him out.

This is true. Up until his 99 coming out, Mantle's 95 was still in my starting Lineup. He has the most HR's on my team and the best BA. I just couldn't take him out.
Same here. I couldn't take him out of the lineup. Only his own upgraded card forced him out.

Yep, that was the first TA4 player I took, even though I am a Met fan. Seaver was second.

Didn't hit a single HR with Giambi on Rookie conquest while everyone else was destroying balls. Mantle's not my jam either. Now that Topps Now Ty France card -- Jesus. Like Barry Bonds.
It's all about stances, I think. Swings are equal, each 5 frames (or 4, can't recall). But stances change how you perceive the entire at bat.

Mantle had a high average for me in last year’s game, but didn’t hit for much power. His swing was a little long, but not to the point I couldn’t use him. When they brought back the Bellinger Finest from MLBTS19 then Mantle got moved to the bench. Didn’t try this years card yet. Though I’m sad to hear they didn’t seem to fix his swing. I will be trying him soon.

First im a terrible hitter, but i cant hit with him either. Not sure what it is but im batting low .100s with him currently. .
