Wow. I just saw it. I'm happy for the card but the Cubs though. It is his 300 win club but I only see Maddux as a Brave.

It could be 29 and 1 or 1 and 29. We already know that Cubs got 2 “Legends” cards between TA2 and TA4. I don’t think they will be the only team who gets double legends, but what the [censored] do I know.
Also, as long as the Mets TA4 boss is Tom Seaver, I’ll be great.

I think it's justified for people to question the future stars cards. Some of them are a bit ridiculous IMO.
The issue for me is that this community questions EVERY card

I just looked, and while his prime 11 seasons were in Atlanta he played at least part of 10 seasons in Chicago, including a 20 win season for them.
What I did not remember at all was that he played for 4 years after leaving Atlanta.

FS cards will be a huge disappointment in the sense that we're getting some mostly unknown minor leaguer who doesn't deserve a 99 and is literally a best case fantasy of what might happen one day. These dudes haven't had a single day in the majors and some of them are probably gonna be better than a 99 Pedro card. That's ludicrous. Don't get me wrong, I'll still use them, but I'd much rather have deserving legends or current players get these cards.

If we get a 99 Adley, I don't think that will disappoint. Here are some others (Top 10) besides Adley we might get:
- Adley Rutschman (Orioles)
- Spencer Torkelson (Tigers)
- Bobby Witt Jr. Royals
- Joey Bart (Giants)
- Keibert Ruiz (Nats)
- Nolan Gorman (Cards)
- O'Neil Cruz (Pirates) (His 84 Gold Prospect last year was amazing)
- Julio Rodriguez (Mariners) or Kelenic
- Vidal Brujan (Rays) (Loved this card last year!) or P Baz
- Jarran Duran (Red Sox)
These would be some really fun cards.

I saw Maddux pitch with the Padres. It's kind of sad when you see these all time greats at levels that are like a shell of what they once were.

I'm not saying these cards won't be extremely good or fun to use, just that they don't deserve to have a super juiced 99 card over an actual major leaguer who's actually earned it. Most people have never heard of these prospects unless they're from your favorite team. At this point these players are essentially just CAPs. They're literally making up stats for them. I'd rather have legends or flashbacks personally.
