I’ve been taking with certain overlooked players in showdowns. For some reason they have juiced responses. List your showdown must haves:

AL EAST- Arron Hicks- hrs like crazy
NL WEST- Eric Thames - clutch hits and hrs
AL CENTRAL - Naquin and Buxton - hit gaps for triples
AL WEST - La Stella double and triples, with crazy clutch hitting

    Anybody else??

AL East - Brandon Lowe, Jose Martinez
AL West - La Stella (agreed), Mitch Haniger (sp?), Tod Frazier vs lefties

I've mostly just played those two Showdowns.

Only done AL West really. I never pass on La Stella. I have a lot of success with Jason Castro, Choo, and Upton too

Dee Gordon is strangely very useful too. He always seems to be gifted a meatball down the middle his first at-bat. When he's on base I receive a lot of pitchouts too

I’ve completed the AL west showdown like, 7 times, (Otahni, Correa, Olson)

    AL West studs:
    Pitchers:
-Heany or manea (1 of them, you only need 1 starter)
-Diekman, LeCerc, Osuna, petit out of pen.

Batters (minus the diamonds cause obvi)
    -Danny Santana
    -LaStella
    -Olson
    -seager
    -Hannager
    -Khris Davis
    -Guzman

    Avoid Joe Adell

In AL West, La Freaking Stella is a beast. Also am having great clutch hitting from Mark Canha.

Ryan O’Hearn for the AL Central - nice swing with surprising pop.

Choo for the AL West. Mitch Haniger slaps too.

Forgot about Dee Gordon. Somehow he get on base with 50 mph slow rollers up the middle. Agree with choo also. Hiring gaps

I inevitably wind up with Haniger but don’t rotate him in. I’m gonna give home a shot

AL East - Teoscar Hernandez was an absolute beast for me.

AL Central - No hidden gems really, just so many excellent power bats available (Encarnacion, Jimenez, Garver, Sano, Cruz, etc.)

    AL West - LaStella.

Haven’t touched showdown besides the AL. Completing the AL East 7 or 8 times burnt me out.

I loved Jose Martinez, rakes lefties and hit better than a bronze against righties too. Especially since the al East showdown has so many lefty pitchers. Soooo many

The best part of Jose Martinez and franmil Reyes is that they end up on the roster even if you don’t draft them in many cases. Martinez in al East I a monster against sale in the second boss battle
