I have never been bored in September with this game before. The PS is a month away and we've yet to see legitimate versions of:
Maddux, Orel, Walter, CY, Gibson Feller, Seaver, Smoltz, Newhouser, Gagne, Pudge, Carter, Bench, Thomas, Helton, Bagwell, Foxx, McCovey, Giambi, Gehrig, Biggio, Matthews, Boggs, Ripken, Rollins, Yount, Larkin, Honus, Banks, Rickey, Foster, Minoso, Irvin, Mays, Davis, Mantle, Griffey, Snider, Edmonds, Andruw, Puckett, Sheffield, Reggie, Gwynn, Kaline, Ruth, and Aaron... To name a few 🤪
Not to mention the lamest inning program to date, including the first 99 Pedro with H/9 lower than Joakim Soria. What on earth are we doing here? A Topps Now event in September with rewards that don't help with Mookie?
I don't play Madden, but I have friends that are picking it up that don't usually play it lol. Give us something here, anything. I'd gladly take on another Extreme Program or something.

We need something new and fresh. The content has been great in quantity so far, but quality..........not so much lately. Give us some heat!!

I love how madden just dropped and to stop people from leaving they dropped a 99 Matt Kemp and a Chris Davis Conquest map. That’ll keep us around.

Madden doing the job for them of keeping us around this game. What have they dropped. Superstar promo with 8 players and a couple flashbacks and heavyweights tomorrow. A new pack promo on Friday. That’s their release content lol. Didn’t even drop team diamonds which was available at launch last year.

While you have some good points here the topps now event might be one of the best we have had this year. Forget the rewards, this event will actually be fun to play

I don't like this argument. At this time last year we had way more. What we're experiencing is a company trying to draw the game out as long as possible and milk the cycle without giving us some of the key things we bought the dang game for (Legends).

This is a garbage event, with garbage rewards. Who wants to play with topps now cards over the legends of the game? This is the worst opinion I’ve ever seen written on here. I award you no points, and may ramone have mercy on your soul.

This is a terrible take. Forget the rewards? Lol nah thats the reason to play events. I would rather parallel my mookie, vlad sr, or any other useful card. Topps now is zzzzzzzzzzzz..........

At this time last year the season had just started and we hadn’t had 4 months of Topps now or monthly awards cards.
I guess the argument is TA3 should have been legends instead of this years all-stars but We still have 4 more innings after the current.

Does anyone even use topps now cards? Other than the one guy that’s on your favorite team. Terrible. Most monthly cards a phased out after the next month comes out anyways. You should be ashamed.

I like the events that force you to use cards you wouldn't normally use. That is literally the entire purpose of events, not to parallel your ranked team. The previous like 5 or 6 events you could use your best cards. Whats the harm in changing it up?

We did have Monthly Awards cards (Correa, etc.). As for Topps Now, there's maybe one or two that should be in anyone's lineup past niche uses. At this time last year, the bosses were Maddux, Rollins, Musial and the Old Timers Program was already out. This year is clearly being milked beyond belief, and simply saying "well it's better than EA and Madden" is holding SDS to an alarmingly low standard.
