Well.. thats my opinion. I just play RS mainly, and yea thats important for me havin a card that makes it. I get your point of view just have different goals.

I mean you said this card would not make ANYONES line up at this point. However when you are proven wrong and that the idea of saying that a card won't make line ups is just dumb
You switch to well it's my view opinion which is just back tracking
Take your L and leave it at that also if you feel it won't make your line up then dont do the program if the card can't make your line up what good is doing the program for??
Oh but I bet you will take the XP, free packs, stubs and collection item that comes from it eh???
This game is so much more then your God squad and its clear you don't know as much about this game as you think you do.

Also, as far as your need for every card to make your team at this point, is your roster larger than 26 players? Maybe it's a glitch but I'm only allowed 13 position players and 13 pitchers! Just doing the math your best line up can only have less then 1% of all available cards in the line up.
It's no secret not every card will make a line up in fact a large % of the best cards in the game will never be in line ups
I don't understand this mentality of seeing a card and instantly have to have dirreia of the mouth and blurt out "this card won't make any bodies line up" and yes you are supppse to read that in the most obnoxious voice you can think of
I'm really glad I read all the way through your post. At first I thought you were making the exact opposite point hahaha. I agree with you completely. Everyone expects every program to be a 99 Roger Clemens/Randy Johnson/Jesus Christ/The Rock hybrid that will instantly make their top 9 and that will somehow help their team differ from everyone else's.
I hate to break it to those always looking for the top 9. Whoever your top 9 are, I've got the same cards, so do most of the avid players on here. Player programs are for fun, collections, xp/stubs, fans of that team/player etc.
Your top 9 or 26 should come at the end of some insane collection like Mookie, Rivera, Jackie or a 12-0 BR run or World Series on RS. Every once in a while a PP will drop with a 99 Miggy who may make your top 9 if you love doubles and don't need stellar defense. But a run of the mill player program that takes an hour isn't that.
Gently puts down mic and waits for the haters to come at him with "but I paid money for this game" "SDS doesn't know what they're doing!" "I'm the only one who found Chipper" "mom the servers are down!"

I honestly think the card will be good, Nasty break,pretty decent control,Great speed differential. This card might be surprisingly good, I mean if it's in comparison to him in real life, it will be really good,

If the card doesn't interest you then there is no need for you and others to even comment that it won't make your team. Its extremely annoying to see these comments on every single new card that comes out, especially the player programs that are mainly meant for XP anyway. Thats the point

I mean you where the one who spouted off about how this card won't make your team so in reality you started the measuring contest cause it's clear that you need your ego stroked about your team.
I don't need to measure anything I got what I got and it gets the job done that said you came in here spouted off where proven wrong about the card and the narrative you were trying to spin so now you need to rely on immature defense tactics to ensure your ego doesn't get buried any further.

Then don't come out and make universal statements like, this won't make anyone's team. Just say, not gonna make my team. If I'm playing online, I probably won't use this, but I'll use the hell out of it against cpu, friends etc. You're right, no need to get bent out of shape.
