Quick Sell Issues

Did I miss something? I just collected LS players and then tried to quick sell them and said there’s nothing to quick sell? Is this a glitch?

You can’t quick sell any players you collect this year. You’ve got em for good
-
Seriously? That’s absolute BS, why would anyone ever quicksell then? That is also going to make collections take 1,000x longer unless you actually spend money on the game. Who in the hell’s idea was that!?

I don’t know man. You can’t even exchange them either. I did collections because I had some pack luck and some money to blow big good lord, I don’t need 1200 cards
-
SDS did that so you need to buy stub and not get them from quick sale to buy other cards... makes sense from the company side ..sucks for customers tho
-
I have to say I do love the Show but this is a $ grab situation
-
On the other hand, if you “lock” a card in a collection, why should you still be able to sell it? You are rewarded for locking down those cards (granted, most of the rewards don’t replace the stubs spent for a collection.)
Now I know it has been that way in years passed, but “lock” should mean LOCKED. If you want to flip cards simply don’t do the collections.
It seems like a lot of you want rewards for collections but still want the ability to sell the cards. That honestly doesn’t make sense, no matter what was allowed before.
It would have been nice if they would have explained this MAJOR change in advance! I know I likely would NOT have locked in MANY of the cards I did if I had known in advance. Live and learn.

I agree with you, and they did it was in the stream before the mantle reveal.
it makes sense to no sell, when you collect something, if you sell or trade part of that you no longer have a collection. -

This is a great point. Didn’t think of it this way...

A lot of people don’t watch all the streams. A simple pop up warning or posting in game would have been helpful.

it makes sense to no sell, when you collect something, if you sell or trade part of that you no longer have a collection.paying 240,000 stubs for a card let's see in actual money $200 for a card is just as insane don't you think..And before you say I don't spend money a lot of you are full of [censored]..Unless your just a subperb player and really good at the game...A lot of these sets do cost a lot of stubs but I get the business side of SDS but as NBA2K and Madden series I've learned money is gonna win over anything..I also know this yr they didn't want you to get any stubs back on locked in cards thus starts the demise of the franchise itself due to corporate greed..

having your cake and eating it too just isn't good enough it seems, gotta brag excessively about it to.
which is what happened last year with qs after collect to have it free or multiple collects for the price of one.
it can be called greed as much as anyone wants but it's kinda obvious where the greed is at. -
What I don't understand is not being able to QS or Exchange a duplicate that you get AFTER you have completed the collection.
The weird thing is that I completed the Braves collection first and then pulled an Acuna and Freeman card and was able to sell it on the market. Got a total of 90k. Since then I have been getting duplicate cards of other Braves players and I wanted to use them to exchange in Team Affinity or even sell them. I can't do it. That had to have changed within the last couple of weeks. And I am a Braves fan but I do not need 4 Dansby Swanson's if I have already completed the collection. -
I think most people are cool (or at least understand) not being able to quick sell a collected card. But there's really no reason you shouldn't be able to exchange it. If you do the collections, it makes it nearly impossible to complete the exchange missions. It's like an either or thing. Even cards you couldn't sell last year, you could still exchange in the team affinity programs. If they're going to make it where you can't exchange collected cards, then the exchange threshold for team affinity needs to be much lower.

If you're acquiring them through Team Affinity, you can't resell those. There's a big red sign on the pack and on the cards themselves.

There is a warning. You just quick accept it just like any other Terms of Service 'Are you sure you read this thing?' message.

If people would be have come into the boards last year and bragged about how they got Honus for practically nothing; SDS wouldn't have implemented this procedure.
I understand trying to be helpful to the conmunity; but when there is an exploit, and it is abused, it's going to fixed.
Just like they fixed the whole '300 Stars in one game' exploit

There were like 3-4 if you did Eddie too. And you can exchange those I believe.

I just wish I knew they changed the quick sell for locked players before I blew through over 300 thousand stubs to get to Mike Schmidt in the live collection. I figured like previous years I'd get back a small fraction of stubs for overpaid diamond cards. I don't need them on my roster. I just wanted Schmidt. That's only way to get him. Buy all those [censored] diamonds.
-
Duplicate no sell cards can be used in the exchange, so you should have no x2 on your no sell collections.
