Right now the two front runners look like the leaders in fWAR starling marte and Robbie ray. Wouldn’t really care all that much for either of those cards. The two dark horses I think would be CJ Cron and Max scherzer. Don’t care for cron but a max would be cool. Really and I can’t stress this enough I REALLY hope they bring back the 99 lightning Tatis as the POTM collection like the castellanos last year.

Give me as many reds as possible. I’d love that card

I know Paul Goldschmidt had a really big July and I thought he had carried that into August. I’m no good at searching the databases like you guys are — what do his August numbers look like? I suspect we’ll be getting an Awards or SS of him at some point though.

BTW — the POTM lightning cards have all been really good for me this year. Votto in particular is an absolute barbarian.

    1.002 OPS in Aug.

A very good Robbie Ray would be awesome to see, he’s about the only pitcher I feel confident with when he takes the mound, I’d say Manoah is second. I sometimes get scared with the others and with the bullpen I just get into the fetal position and weep.. especially Trent Thornton.

Goldy has had a solid month batting .359 so far. Good and maybe worth consideration but there are better candidates. As of right now I would maybe go for CJ Cron, who is batting .392 with 8 HR and 28 RBIs

I would love to see Wainwright get some recognition. He trails only Robbie Ray in WAR among starting pitchers this month.

I think they should make the Michael Jordan White Sox card the player of the month. He can bat .190 with 1 homerun.

Yes. That's his single celebration because we know he wouldn't hit home runs. Coach pulls out a mini hoop.
