In my opinion I donât think that was the reason. My theory is that he voluntarily took time off for training after his comment.
I hate that all this even happened. I canât listen to Kirk Gibson falling asleep as Miggy hits #500. Even if I could, the suspension has left a sour taste on the whole thing

Tiger fan. Looking forward to Riley Greene and Spencer Torkelson, but they need some established hitters in the meantime. The starting pitching is coming along, bullpen is ok-ish with Fulmer, Funkhouser and Soto, but they cannot score runs. The lineup flat out stinks.
EDIT - Didn't hear what Morris said so I didn't comment. I don't expect it was anything truly bad but sounds like he wasn't very careful and that's going to cost you nowadays.

Soto allowed the grand slam the other night. Heâs great but inconsistent. I like Cisnero betterâhe can throw gas with better control.
Tork and Greene probably wonât debut until next year. Who knows, they could make opening day if they do good in Toledo and have a good showing in Spring Training.

Poor use of cultural appropriation to try to add a joking tone to how to pitch to Ohtani? Absolutely. Malicious racial slur? Not even close.

Agreed. Google it. I'm really disappointed in society. I feel like it's mostly 'woke' Caucasian folks overcompensating. If we want to talk about Asian injustice let's talk about how we practically no coaches or managers of Asian descent in the major leagues. That's something to care about that actually impacts the Asian baseball community.

I do agree that itâs Caucasians who are trying to overcompensate. Personally I donât think itâs any of their business to determine what is best for another groupâthe same goes for all groups. Problems aside, we are a lot better off than we were 50 years ago, equality-wise. This kind of stuff threatens that achievement.
To Bally Sports and all the other people/corporations that are doing this kind of thingâhow about instead of focusing on what makes us different, we focus on what makes us similar.

Thatâs true and itâs a shame. From what Iâve seen on social mediaâthe pushback from baseball fans and Tigers fans for Morrisâ suspensionâBally doesnât have the best interests of the public (especially not the fans) at heart.
