I've got about 150 of 2 different guys and 30 of 3 or 4 others. 1 I definitely think will pay off the others are a little more of long shots but I bought them all for quick sell so worst case I break even

I got into a debate with a few friends about Taillon getting updated today. Their argument was that he had an awesome July... Long story short is I bet them $ he would not get updated today. fingers crossed

Didn't Williams start out as a Diamond and get dropped to a Gold?
This is what I don't understand about their 'updates'.
Why do it every two weeks when people can have hot or cold spells?

It shouldn't matter based on them stating that all updates are based on a 3 year average. That was the main reason for me saying Taillon had zero chance of going gold unless he has like 2+ more July type months. Unfortunately they don't seem to always follow that 3 year scale.

Here was my take:
Here are other silver/bronze players that have been better or similar on the season: Dylan Cease, Yusei Kikuchi, Casey Mize, Cole Irvin, Jordan Montgomery, Zack Greinke, Hyun-Jin Ryu, Nathan Eovaldi, Frankie Montas, Marcus Stroman, Wade Miley, Adam Wainwright, German Marquez, Tyler Mahle... I can keep going.
April ERA - 6.23, May ERA - 4.45, June ERA - 6.14, July ERA - 1.16 (outlier)
The biggest difference in July was he let up less than 4 homeruns, in the first 3 he let up 4 or more per month.
If they give him gold it will be a disservice to countless others.
He is on pace to set career highs in ER allowed, HR allowed, BB allowed, his HR/9 is already at a career high and so is his FIP. Maybe I am wrong but I doubt it. -
Winker and maybe Votto but Votto was just recently bumped to gold.

Hoping for Story, Devin Williams and Segura.
Sold off the few Crawfords I had because I saw the buy now creeped up to over 5300. Not sure he's a lock so just wanted to be safe there.

Try his live series card with the inside edge, The all Star cards are cool but I don't like how they need defense on some players.mhis live series card is great IMO.
