Like what is the psychological explanation behind someone wanting to bash a game they play/played to complete strangers?
Why do you care what other people enjoy/play? And also why do you think anyone else cares either?

The business model for these games and most other online games is microtransactions. You seem to think they lose sleep over players like you leaving, but they got their money from you. Next year they will likely get it again. They are not failing and if they were there wouldn't be an MLB The Show.
Content creators need SDS and EA to gain views. SDS and EA need content creators to gain publicity. The process benefits both parties. Doesn't feel like a broken system to me. Not sure why we need two threads on something that works exactly as designed.
Got my money? I got the game off Game Pass for Free and never spent a single penny on stubs. They got nothing from me. Sad to know you spend on stubs though

Exactly. I left Madden to try MLB The Show 20 out and I'm not going back. Having too much fun playing baseball.
And did you remember to announce on the forums for Madden that you were leaving for MLB the Show?
Nope I just stopped playing and started playing MLB The Show 20. Really didn't see a reason to announce it. I truly hope Madden players enjoy this year's game and hope EA has made the necessary changes so they can do so.

In my opinion there's no comparison between MLB The Show and Madden content as MLB The Show blows Maddens away.
I think it is even more simple then that. Ones baseball and one is football. If I want to play football I dont care how good this game is I am gonna play Madden. If I want baseball it doesnt matter how good Madden is I will be playing this. It isnt like they are competing same sport games. They are gonna have the same numbers every year.

Very true. I just find it interesting that when a game comes out someone always has to trash the game they have been playing instead of just moving on to the new game.

Apparently the few who keep posting on here about how much better Madden is then MLB The Show 21 are the ones who care. I don't get the reason behind it, but that's just me.

Cool questions that I’ll take a stab at. Any individual will act negatively when a need to belong is unfulfilled (everyone has this, literally everyone [human nature]). So if OP never quite understood the joy of the game and this forum, this might apply here. When he’s getting piled on person after person telling him to GTFO, it would only fuel his negativity though. Didn’t intend to say any of this disparagingly to anyone if that came across.

Stopped playing Madden 10 years. Not realistic at all.
I tried 2k for a few months last year during lockdown. It’s blatantly pay to win.
I’ll stick to The Show.

While I was always planning on going back to madden when it came out I had intended to stay more involved with the show this year than I had in the past.
I don't see that happening given the way the game currently is. I also make HOF every RS and 31 games above 500 so your statement doesn't apply to me.

100% it does. Absolutely no denying that in the least. Sadly the game play is boring af right now.

I would assume that the vast majority of the show's game/stub sales happen within the first couple months of the cycle, so I seriously doubt that SDS really gives a [censored] what players do from here on out because for most of us they've already made all the profit they're ever going to get this year.
