I’ve never been A Yankees fan but I loved Jeter. Incredible player and seemed like a pretty good guy. Would love to have in my lineup. I realllly want to play some games on the Field If Dreams. That would be really cool.

I agree but everyone that wants him talks about him like he'll be the best SS in the game but I'd be willing to bet they use him for a week and replace him.

You'd only see Jeter on die hard Jeter fans teams. His card wouldn't play attribute wise. High contact, maybe 100 pop on a sig series card. Silver fielding.

Juiced in what way? He was the exact same player in the Post Season and don't use the "he has x rings" argument. There are a lot of mediocre players in sports with multiple rings.
To name a few... Will Purdue (4 rings, NBA), Charlie Silvera (6 rings, MLB), Luis Sojo (4 rings, MLB), Jim Loscutoff (7 rings, NBA). Funny thing actually if you look up mediocre players with multiple rings a bunch of them are Yankees. lol -
Jeter was an above average player that played for one team for 20 seasons. What if he would have been selected just 1 pick earlier and played 20 years for the Reds? What would your argument be if he had 0 rings?
