I really don't get the desire for a Derek Jeter card at all. I guess I get it for Yankee fans but there are so many better players that we could get other than him.

fingers crossed What does Jeter have to do with the Field of Dreams? my opinion on this is that you don't wait to drop a card that a lot of fans are looking for until mid August. You use that name to sell the game and maybe make him the cover athlete.
I think the Field of Dreams program could be awesome. Let them institute a Legend program and a cool legend reward set. We still haven't gotten great cards of Mantle, Mays, Feller, Robinson, Palmer, Aaron, Clemente and such. There is a lot of high profile legends that need better cards and this program could give them the ability to drop a few.

I don't know if SDS would release a Shoeless Joe Jackson card since he is banned from MLB or isn't he?

According to Wiki, the real players in the field of dream movie are shoeless joe, dr, moonlight graham, buck weaver, Eddie cicotte, Swede Risberg, and chick gandil. I doubt it because most likely they don't have the rights and shoeless joe is banned. I think it will players from the Yankees and the White Sox.

fingers crossed I’ve never been A Yankees fan but I loved Jeter. Incredible player and seemed like a pretty good guy. Would love to have in my lineup. I realllly want to play some games on the Field If Dreams. That would be really cool.
