More frustration than anything. It takes so long in this game to adjust, get better, recognize pitches and sequencing, etc. Then you make it to the higher levels and realize there’s a ceiling for skill. It becomes so random and unfair, that it loses its appeal. Guys that are swinging at pitches in the dirt and balls tailing 2 feet away from the strike zone don’t deserve hits, plain and simple.

I think the complaints are understandable. After all, the potential of this game is so vast that it can be a big disappointment when the gameplay falls flat.

The non pci hits. The pci square ups that are pop outs. Throwing it three feet out of the zone and guys still connecting. The unrealistic sinkers. First year player, and I gotta say this is arcade trash. It rewards people who just smash buttons and don’t even understand baseball. I’m so sad that it took my three months to realize this game is no better than madden or 2k. Disappointed.

Ignorant is playing a game like The Show and believing it's anything but a Computer-controlled arcade game. It's someone trying to convince others that it's a true simulation and not a randomized AI animation generator.
The guy admitted he spent 3 months before he learned his lesson. Don't use the bullying-gaslighting unsavory marketing tactics to make him feel bad for complaining.

Actually, if improving the game is really your goal then the "just stop playing" mindset is your best hope of achieving that. Message board posts can be easily ignored, but a large enough decrease in game/stub sales can't.

100 % agree I feel sorry for the people that paid real moneu for kit. I just bought a pack and got S. Ohtani but for some reason 2k decided to list him as a RF and his secondary position is SP ... 2k look online anywhere no one says he is a starting right fielder. Sometimes people are really retarded

Just stop playing? What does that accomplish? Anyone that has paid for a product period..and is unsatisfied with it. Just stop using it and STFU. That's your answer?
No, the answer is to pass the word along to as many as you can reach. Make the information far reaching enough that folks that haven't bought the game that are considering it won't... if their purchase intent is based on enjoying a competitive MLB simulation.
People that have bought it and might be considering buying it again because the marketing tactics every year state "Much improved"..do not. Because every year it's the same 'ol arcade play.
The only way to make that happen is get the experienced word out on the street to any "potential" future buyers.
You have heard of customer reviews correct? They are HUGE in influencing future purchasers. The negative as well as positive.

This game is a hot flaming pile of dog s@#$.. But yet we all myself included come back for more. Probably because we're chasing that "fun" feeling when the game doesn't f you over. But 80% of games are just rage inducing bs where you feel cheated and pissed off by the end.
