Depends. They've been sticking to choosing either the AL or NL player of the month. If both are hitters I'd wager that it's a hitter.

Totally agreed OP at least some recognition for his efforts in almost single handedly keeping the Yankees in the hunt approaching the trade deadline. He has at least kept us afloat while waiting for the potential returns of Kluber and Severino. I also created a Taillon post where I asked SDS to wake up and at least reward the guy with a Gold Card 80-82

Well they just named Ohtani/Votto the POTMs so I'm assuming Votto will be lightning card. Hopefully Jamo gets a potm card in the program though.

When do we think the POTM gets announced? Is it next week or this week its coming? -
Program gets released Thursday, so I would expect to come earlier in the day... Votto probably gets the Lightning card, but I fully expect Jameo to get a card in the path.

Wonder what we could get for a team affinity this season.
Wonder if they would do something similar to the 42 set or something for the next affinity. -
Last year the 4th Team Affinity was Finest which are basically like a team MVP card at the end of the season.
