These guys are really living up to their big Diamond cards. Brujan will be back at Durham before July is over and may never see the Bigs again. An .077 average really don't cut it. SDS sure did nail it by giving him a 91 Diamond card.

And Franco..he's been below the Mendoza ever since coming up. He'll be given every chance to fail due to the hype, but seems like another season at Durham would be beneficial. But, let's just give him a 99 and call him a future star.

    I don't get it.

Devers Moncado Benintendi Glasnow Snell Reyes Giolito Berrios Buxton Gallo Bregman Buehler… They do alright, and that’s just year one.

I am one of the first to join the 'Despise Futer Star cards' train.

However, it's their rookie season give them another year or so.

The community in 2021: Waaah high rated prospect cards are unrealistic!

Also the community in 2021: Waaah 100% of my perfect swings aren't homeruns!

Dude said he quit the game for fifa and a few days later he is back here whining about cards in the games.

I hope you have the strap tightened on your helmet. We wouldn’t want to get hurt when you, invariably, fall off your tricycle.

Judging a 20 year old future star by his first few months is nuts. But, the bigger question is how is Franco’s live series card a gold?

I don't get why people have to just hate on young prospects who have more talent in their pinky than most of us do in our entire bodies. Just let the kids grow and develop and stop being a hater.

I mean, the Brujan card is a "Moments" card. Anyone can get a diamond moments card if they have a "Moment" they choose to put in the game as a reward. It's not like he got called up and they made him a instant diamond...

I mean....not every player is a Bonds, Griffey Jr, Chipper or Trout soooo...
I agree with most the others. Give these kids a year or 2. (Tho I do see Franco dropping to a silver at the next update)

I’m legends over future stars guys myself… However I’ve come to the understanding that future star cards are important for the game of baseball in general… I don’t really like the inflated stats, but let’s be honest, last year I had no idea whom Jazz Chisholm was, loved his card and now that he’s up doing well, it was cool that I know who he is… I know a lot of these guys will never reach the stats on their cards, but from a marketing and developing stand point for the future of baseball I understand why they are here… My only gripe is that when they release legends that have done great things in the past like 95 postseason Lou Gehrig for example, I wish that the stats he has don’t look nerfed to what he actually did in that World Series.

For every Vlad Jr. there are 10 that never even make it to The Show. There is a post out here that I created from SDS Twitter announcements of their 2016 Prospects. You ought to read it before you start referencing 10% of the ones they got close to right. 90% dead wrong.

SDS tries to hide some of these blunders. I was told you can't go into season's previous 2018 and see all the Prospects. They only show, like, one or two that actually were successful. Don't have the balls to admit they blew it and show all of the prospects from previous season's. Because it's a fiasco and classic example of enshrining prospects in to the high Diamond club and watching them never even make it. Over and over again.

But, you can still find all their promo posts on Twitter from previous seasons. And they are pretty funny in retrospect.
