He's not going to be in the game again, he made comments that result in SDS not continuing their businesses relationship. The same thing happen with Albert Bell and Lenny Dysktra in 18

As for Kile, Fernandez, and Halladay, who passed away too young,, I'm guessing SDS would have to have their respective families approval.
Maybe it's too much for them to see their likeness in a game.
As for Jeter, I know how he carried himself. Very private and gave vanilla answers as a player. I think he doesn't want to be in a game anymore.
While he played, he was the cover star of All-Star Baseball for a few years, but while he was active.
It's maybe more complicated than we think at times. -
probably because they dont want to release his card with common defense as it should be.

yeah jeter is about money and would cost a ton for them to get. BTW he would suck in this game. He was a contact hitter and a poor defender with not much speed. He wouldn't be good.

Does it have anything to do with the fact he is a minority owner of the Marlins? I’m not sure, I know you have to pay for likeness but don’t past players still have to be members of the PA as well?

I'd love to see a Mark Grace, Rick Sutcliff, Andre Dawson among some of my other favorite Cubs from back in the day. Really want a Daryl Kile and Randy Johnson more than anything else.

Daryl Kyle was awesome and I agree he would cool to have in the game. It's a shame he passed away so early I loved watching him pitch in Houston, what a curve ball
It was crazy, I believe they said his dad and grandfather both died before 30 from heart conditions as well.

I'm pretty sure he was like world series season 1 or 2 that year super early on and never got another card so he was an after thought

Arguably one of the greatest, and most clutch hitters of all time wouldn't be good in this game? They dish out 99's like hot cakes, if they had a Sig Jeter it would be a top 3 SS in this game. 120's contact, 90's power, 80/90's fielding and probably low to mid 80's speed.
Also, he won 5 GG's and stole 400 bases in his career....way to prove to everyone you know absolutely nothing about baseball.
