Hey everyone - those of you who play HOF/make it to World Series I have a question about what I'm doing wrong.

I stayed offline/grinding for most of the start of the year. Since I've started to play more online, I've gone flawless, 11-0 3 times, 9-0 5 times so I know I have some semblance of stick skills.

I just played a game where both me and my opponent had more than 10, 14/15 PCI rated swings - but the game was decided on a bloop single in the 10th (by him, IDC - I know I'm not perfect and I'm okay with losing). I'm just confused about if HOF has been like this all season.

I get that not everything 14/15 is a hit. I get that lots of stuff goes for line outs etc. Like I said, I've gone flawless - I'm not "get gud" material here. I also understand that the player's swing path is ultimately the deciding factor. I had one with Dante Bichette - I was middle PCI, in "good" but slightly early, at Dodger stadium, ended up a 40 degree launch angle at 89mph.

He had several of the same. We started PMing after like the 7th inning like "ok this game is gonna take forever" - he was World Series banner, so again, someone who knows and understands stick skills.

Without seeing my screen, what am I doing wrong? Am I supposed to not get the ball in the middle of the PCI on HOF? I honestly am saying this genuinely - because I've been a BR junkie for the first few months of the game so I haven't even played HOF much.

I've played HOF in 20 and it didn't feel like this. I finished last year with an 898 highest ranking. I get all the basics - H/9 matters, K/9 affects PCI size, etc etc etc. But both him and I agree that it feels like the ball or bats are made of rubber.

I've tried playing off-peak curious if it was a server thing, because I found that playing off-peak helped with BR - not with the competition - but it felt more like the swings I was taking were resulting the way I expect them to.

I'm still seeing streamers putting up 10 a game so I'm just confused whether this is me/him having a bad game - or if this is a consistent issue that other HOFers are seeing? I literally never played RS before the ASG cards came out - so I simply don't know.

Based on my experience it’s a combination of connection and rng. Mid 700-low 800 games are going to be mostly decided by one inning, maybe even one ab in my experience.

What hurts for me is having made WS flawlessly last season, now on a 15 games win streak in RS and yet I still haven’t been able to go 12-0 in BR this year

Sucks. I do always play at peak times when the creatures of the night lurk

Imagine being me, going on a 6-0 BR run and feeling powerful. Like Tony Montana once said: First you get the stubs, then you get the power, then you get clapped by a 12-0 guy.

BR is my favourite mode - it was only a matter of time until I mastered it - I felt the momentum coming - 9-0, 9-0, 11-0, 11-0, then finally flawless.

Why do you even spend time on this forum? What do you get out of making posts like this? I was asking questions. I said I didn't care if I lost. He didn't care that he won. Both the guy who beat me and myself would probably trounce you, so please find another topic to be insufferable in
