Patch 1.05

To me, just going by the language in the patch notes, they're not going to do enough to fix the broken hitting.

I think they are trying to find a middle ground. As much fun as I had hitting the first few days, you only had to look at a ball funny and it would leave the ballpark. I'm fine with them not reverting back to pre-patch hitting, hopefully this will be a good compromise.

That is a good point and great outlook.

Don’t kid yourselves... all that’s gonna be on this board today is more complaining. That’s how it works
-
And this is that time we see every year when the game was playing great on release and then a patch hits causing everyone to wish they had just let it be...
-
Last thing we need is better pitching ability with same'ish hitting that we currently have lol

aaaaaaaa

Remember everyone BB/9 is still the main factor for accuracy so please dont be mad when you get perfect pitch input with a 50 BB/9 pitcher and it doesn't go where you want it to go.
So perfect doesn’t mean perfect.... got it.
But it does mean that perfect with Roy Oswalt (98 BB/9) is better and more consistent than perfect with Wade Miley (48 BB/9)
This isn't what it's saying. BB/9 affects how easy or hard it is to get a perfect input on the pitching meter. The pitcher's control rate determines how close to your intended spot the pitch goes when you get good or perfect input on the meter. -

It baffles me that the game has been out for 2 weeks and there's already patches trying to fix things. SDS has been the ONLY baseball game in town for years. How have they not figured it out yet?

Or like 3 days after the pre-release. Lol

How about balls going through the walls that result in a ground rule double. I don't remember this happening in any older versions of MLB the show. This is happening in multi player occasionally. Even balls that roll to the wall can go through the wall. It has probably happened 4-5 times to me in about 30 ranked season games.

My opponent just committed lefty on lefty crime on a slighly early/rolled over slider low and outside and he pulled it!!!!!
From a physics standpoint, how is that even possible????

3 games in and I have to say this patch feels great. I haven’t experienced any good/okays center PCI. My good hits have been rewarded for the most part and pitching feels very good only really have hung 1-2 pitches and I was pretty early on release.
