I disagree. I'm learning it currently and when I get a perfect input, its pretty on point, but I have noticed when I miss I am getting some pretty bad balls. That being said, its the opposite of 20 where if you missed input you hung it for a straight cockshot. Pinpoint when I miss they're going out of the zone more often than not.
Maybe that’s the issue? I played about 12 RS games yesterday and I didn’t throw a single pitch down the middle the entire day
I think I get “perfect” releases about 80-85% of the time and the rare times I mess up it safely goes out of the strike zone for a ball.
I can also tell when my opponent is using pinpoint as they throw every pitch on the black or just outside of the strike zone as well. (Asked what setting they used to confirm)
Why would we want 2020 gameplay back? If anything, hitting should be nerfed. How many people have complained about homers outside the PCI or those very late swings finding the hole. Pitching this year has been great. Hitting still has its minor flaws with the forgiveness.

The only issue I see with pinpoint is if people start using modded controllers to cheat.

Double post.

So decided to give pinpoint a try after all the positive comments. Wow. All offline and conquest but give me a couple days and this is amazing as even after 10ish games I feel very in control.

So far, I am highly proficient with pure analog. I would need a new controller to learn pin-point, my right stick is just hammered.
I recommend Elite Series 2 or Scuf if you can. The Elite Series 2 is worth every cent. I've tried a brand new Series X and brand new Xbox one controller and its no comparison.

Players 2020 - "Make input matter more. Pitching is too random."
Players 2021 - "Input matters too much. Pitching is not random enough."This is Perfect Perfect

Believe it or not, I bought a walmart special $19.85 wired controller and it's freakin perfect.
I have an app called "game controller tester" or something like that, free on xbox store, and it's just a test interface so you can see all the buttons and test the sticks and drift, etc...
I switched to PP pitching, will never go back.

It seems like the release matters far more than drawing the pattern in pinpoint. The system is good overall, but I do think it is too forgiving like others have said

What’s up haters?

Do you still feel that way now? Because I’ll get perfect perfect with people like all star Freddy Peralta on a pitch out the zone and it hangs it for a perfect cockshot. I’ve lost 5 games in the past week due to that.

I do! The PAR gives us a general idea of where a pitch will go and I haven't experienced what you're describing without either forgetting what pitch I was throwing and drastically [censored] it up, or using a pitcher with really poor control (or is it bb/9?) and a large PAR. And of course, just generally missing a pitch with yellow feedback.
Issues with pinpoint right now are all related to the meta and stamina. High sinkers shouldn't have the drastic break, outlier needs to be toned down in compliance with stamina (and not every [censored] card needs it), and lastly stamina needs a rework so PPP isn't so strong compared to all other inputs.
