What is the Moonshot Event Like?

I came late to MLB20 last year and missed this event. Is it common pitchers with diamond hitters while playing at Coors or Shippett?
Also, what else can I expect?

From what I remember it’s common pitchers and I think they first started with right handed pitchers and left handed batters and then switched it and then went to a free for all, there might have been a cap on overall and I don’t remember if there was a stadium lock or not

Maybe I’m remembering wrong, but I thought they did same handed pitchers? Meaning RH Batter vs RHP. They just did opposite handed, so I don’t think they’ll do that again.

What the others stated plus LOTS OF CONTACT SWINGING!
And LOTS IF DASHBOARDING!
This would be the ONLY time I would want to be the Away team. If you can put up enough runs in you first ABs, chances are your opponent will dashboard.

I am an events junkie, Shawn, and won’t touch this thing with contact swing glitch still in effect. Common pitchers against power hitters on All Star with jack as**s using contact swing. Will be brutal.

It could certainly be hell. I tried to stay away from this current one, but couldn’t because of the reward! You win at like an 80% clip, Wyatt… the contact swingers aren’t beating you lol.

People shouldn't need to use contact swing if its common versus diamond.

I don’t worry about losing, that’s part of them game, my friend. It’s the 3-4 minute long at bats where they found off a zillion pitches a foot below the plate of 10 inches inside with the contact swing that drove me bonkers!

That is true and it annoys the [censored] out of me especially when I get a perfect perfect flyball to dead center.

I’ve never played this event but be sure you’ll be seeing that knuckleballer every other game.
