Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd say hello.
Expand your musical mind, and good things will come.
Was going to say I lean towards Zeppelin and Pink Floyd, personally though I love Black Sabbath and Iron Maiden is probably my favorite band ever. I don't think you can beat the 60's, 70s and 80's for music.
Ever see any of em live?
Maiden 3 times, Sabbath twice, Ozzy solo twice as well i've also seen System of a Down live. Zeppelin was before my time unfortunately because my first concerts were in the early 2000s.
I was all set to see Tool before all concerts were canceled, still hoping they rebook.

Relax dude, this is one of the few threads in years coming from Kieran that didn't intentionally turn into a toxic cesspool. So I'd say embrace it because you never know when the moment is gone and things go back to "normal".

Anyone else here from the all-night queue in 1993 at the Ticketmaster outlet near Chattanooga, for Pink Floyd tix in Nashville the next year? I was second in line with my university buds and when the doors opened in the morning, the computers went down for 30 minutes. We ended up waaaay at the back of Vanderbilt Stadium. Still a great show.
Saw Floyd division bell at Giants stadium. 8th row center stage. Plane crashed over my head. I think I'm still high from the show. I remember drinking a 6 pack of Bud Ice pregame in the parking lot.
I had to reply to this. I saw the Floyd tribute band, The Machine, at a music festival. I also saw a plane crash over my head. Dead serious. There was no crash or plane but I saw it. Weird. Good times

Just to stir things a bit, I saw Queen at MSG in 1980 at the Garden. Everyone I tell this gets jealous, lol.
For the record, I love The Beatles, but my top 3 bands are:
Van Halen
Dream Theater
Overkill.
Saw all in concert. -

It should be in off topic, but it’s fine. I always sort threads by newest topics, not category, so I don’t notice which one I’m in.

Bruh who was hiding The Beatles from us? Like I knew the existed but I always wrote it off as old music that I wouldn't like. Well I started listening on Spotify for fun to some of their top songs, like Come Together, Twist and Shout, Hey Jude, and Let It Be and this stuff slaps. Like still holds up today! Surprised I went 18 years before realizing this stuff is actually fire.
My favorites are Paperback Writer, Dear Prudence, and I am the Walrus. But Blackbird is a very underrated song. Go listen to those if you haven't already.

Update: I made my own playlist called "Sgt. Kieran's Lonely Hearts Club Band" and have been listening while playing the Show and going to work, these are my favorite songs.
- With A Little Help From My Friends
- Strawberry Fields Forever
- Hey Judge
- In My Life
- Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds
I also started listening to Electric Light Orchestra too (someone suggested it in here). I'd known about them from the Guardians of the Galaxy movies, but hadn't really listened a lot until now, my favorite is probably "Turned to Stone", feels like a fun hype up song to listen while cruising down a highway with the windows down.
