Bouncing between all star and hall of fame has been a nightmare itself and it doesn’t help when I have to face Cabrera on HOF. I used to be able to hit him sometimes but now I’m not sure what it is. That high inside sinker gets me everytime I even try sitting there with the pci and l still can’t hit it. Any advice or tips when facing this card particularly on HOF?

I played him tonight on HOF and eventually quit. Idk what's going on with the timing windows but holy [censored] it was bad. That 101 felt like 110. I couldn't swing the [censored] bat fast enough

I cannot hit sinkers into righties when playing against him, I will be late everytime and can't discern a ball from a strike if it's not low or high

Start pci middle with righties and if you have to move it inside, don't swing. Get yourself into a hitters count, then swing with anticipation when the opponents pitching pattern suggests an inside strike is coming.

Fortunately, I haven’t faced him as often as others, but I have noticed when I do, his breaking pitches don’t have a lot of movement. I started laying off his sinker and sitting off speed. As suggested prior, make opponent throw strikes, take as many as you need, it’s ok to strike out looking if you don’t get a pitch, that doesn’t boost the confidence as much as a swinging strike. Eventually opponent is going to start putting off speed in the zone. If they don’t, then you obviously need to start swinging and you’re in for a sweaty game.

I face him every other game, just got him to 103 pitches and he was still dotting and painting corners. Whoever decided to make this man’s card so dominant needs a slap in the face

My plan vs Cabrera is often something like this : pause - check the other player stats - quit. No friend request ..... Just a big "nope you will not mess up my day" satisfying quit

I’ve consistently been getting lit up using Cabrera for some reason. Gonna get knocked out of my rotation pretty soon.

learn to read his arm motion and as soon as you see his hand behind his back that's when you should begin your timing.
