Is it really cheating, however, when the whole league knows it and accepts it?
This is a non-issue if Trevor Bauer doesn't go public about it and hammer away at it for a few years.

and testosterone. and you are correct, it wasnt on the banned list when most of these guys used them. but only cause they were new and no one knew about them.
Got on the banned list pretty quick once it was revealed thats what they were doing.

Facts. I bet this gives him a little uptick and Cole gets nastier! He is a real competitor and this will give him some extra motivation. He's been money all year! Only constant this year thats positive for the Yanks.

Pine tar is plenty for hitters, spider tac is strong enough to rip skin off your hand. Hitters definitely use things to help their grip but the spider tac, sunscreen and rosin, and pelican grip is a pitcher thing. I’m in college baseball and the use of sticky stuff has been on the rise in the NCAA the last few years too. I remember hearing in 2016 that the University of Florida pitchers were using sun screen and hand sanitizer to help grip. Many pitchers on my team used some sort of sticky stuff too

It was definitely a sarcastic post. Not many seem to catch it. He’s saying that the rule book says they can’t use foreign substances but since spider tack is domestic then Cole didn’t cheat.

Trevor Bauer mentioned in one of his videos to not be surprised if there’s pitcher going to IL bc of finger or wrist injury. Due to the no substance enforcement….. Looking at you Aaron Civale (on my fantasy team)

Performance enhancing drug does not equal anabolic steroid; that is a specific, distinct substance. They are used towards the same goal though.

Performance enhancing drug does not equal anabolic steroid; that is a specific, distinct substance. They are used towards the same goal though.
Dude those substances are literally anabolic steroids. Look it up. They’re synthetic hormones that are designed to increase bulk and speed up the recovery process.
And here is the exact definition:
a synthetic steroid hormone that resembles testosterone in promoting the growth of muscle. Such hormones are used medicinally to treat some forms of weight loss and (illegally) by some athletes and others to enhance physical performance.
