This Game is BAD

I’m not one to complain but i just lost a game 7-1 where he only got HR that weren’t even in his pci and bloop hits. I had 5 P/P and only one left and pieced a lot of other balls. I just find it unfair that I was not rewarded for any good contact but he was rewarded for a ton of missed pci’s.

I tend to agree. Although this years game is by far the best it's been since 2018, the core game in itself is just not good, whether it's called MLBTS 18, 19, 20 or 21. It's also quite boring, everyone is always using the same teams, the same players, the same stadium, the same approach, the same cheese, the same everything. The only thing that differs is the online timing windows which makes the online experience just plain bad.

There were 3 perfect-perfects in your game. All 3 were by your opponent. 2 of them were singles by Thome and 1 was a line-out by Buxton.

I hit two bombs with Jackie Robinson where the ball was to the left of the pci toward his hands….maybe slightly touching. Two home runs like that. Pretty sure they were both three run bombs.
He was throwing Crochet and was going like 80 percent off speed and then mixing the fastball. Both home runs were hit off of the fastball. I guess they are saying that Jackie muscled those balls over the fence?
I got a majority of my baserunners via walk so maybe his confidence was down or something? I don’t know….all I know is I was shocked they were no doubt home runs.

Other side of the coin I was playing some guy that was throwing everything outside and I would square everything up and it was going directly to his 2B/SS and corner infielders for loud outs.
When I was pitching if he made contact with a ball it was a bomb…..even on the outside of the plate haha.

Considering you have played for a few years you should know that anyone can look at your profile and game history. Not poking at you but it just looks like he played better. He had 5 runs in one inning and that broke the game open. You had zero PP and he had 3. It's all right there in your history.

I cant complain about non hits i think should be hits cause i aint great hitter but Ive been gettin killed on very late swings.
Last game it was very late dbl, late blooper, very early dbl then good timing hr above his pci lol so 4-0. -

It wasn’t my last game….it was a few games back. I just was comparing two separate games where I felt I got some cheap bombs and another recent game where I felt the opposite way.

Yea that was for OP. I agree hitting is whack online. Some games you get the luck and some you get hosed. I was just trying to save the OP from further embarrassment.

I am pretty frustrated by the check swings. I feel like I’m pretty good about feathering it on my check swings I get rung up on…..even sometimes when the feedback shows I did not swing.
Then I’ve played a couple jokers that check swing every pitch safely like this was a previous version of mlb. I’m assuming they must have some sort of third party controller or something where they reassigned their swing button because it is literally impossible to pull off a check swing every time on a normal Xbox controller.

I play offline only and I'm 100% convinced this game is programmed to force double plays if you ever get someone on first base with zero or one out. No matter where the ball crosses the plate, it will end up a double play. If you get a great hit, it's right at the 1st baseman and he tags your runner out. I'm so sick of it.
