Yeah but like others said, he got his gold MA card when his base was a silver or maybe even bronze. I think his LS card is gold now so getting a diamond Topps now card makes sense. He probably won’t get another card until Finest or Postseason awards.
A guy like deGrom who’s LS card is 95 is probably not getting another card until very late in the game cycle. Same with Tatis, Acuna, Betts, Freeman, etc.
