Its crazy how the live series collection has almost doubled in cost since release. I thought for sure it would go down in price.

I don't understand why Trout has gone up over 200k the past month. I should have bit the bullet then. I'm sitting on 750k but just refuse to spend that much on him right now.

An Xbox stub sale before the market settled from the playstation stub sale doesn't help

Is the xbox stub sale still live I thought it was like last week?

I now have almost all the MLB live series cards except for these

    Yankees Gerett Cole, Aroldis Chapman
    Angels Mike Trout
    Mets Jacob Degrom
    Cardinals Nolan Arenado
    Dodgers Mookie Betts, Cody Bellinger
    Padres, Fernando Tatis Jr.

Obviously all these cards cost a fortune and you can only find them by sheer luck.

Is there any way to rack up stubs without having to spend any real money?

I didn't spend a time and just grinded. I only got one lucky pull which was acuna

It’s supply and demand. Pretty much everyone going after LS is in the same spot you are. They’ve already got Juan Soto, that’s why his price tanked... but lots still need trout. I was guilty here too. I hated forking over almost 400k for him and 200 for Cole to finish. At least I got Tatis below 100

Its the dumb stub sell. And don't think it's going away anytime soon. They will probably continue to stagger the sells between the platforms. That and packs suck a$$ (1:50 is a lie, and I'll die on this hill) so not many people are pulling good diamonds. It's not just trout. Acuna has more gone up 100k. Degrom is up 100k. Cole is up too. I'm probably gonna give up on the collection. I just need acuna and the nl west, but that's going to cost 700k. Not worth it when my 3b cap is already a better card than chipper, and Soriano sucks.

Play the USA conquest and sell the prospects and hope you pull some fire out of the 10 pack. Work on Team Affinity while you do it.

There also hasn’t been a lot of great content in packs lately. We need a good headliner to get people to rip packs.

pretty much everyone is right there with you and waiting rather than those that buy the stubs. It's just a waiting game. Save your stubs and it'll happen later on. It always does. Sell during stub sales and buy when the market crashes. Usually after a content drop.

Flip stubs on the market. Look for a tutorial on YouTube if you don't know what that is or how it works. All you need to do is invest time and manage your binder and you could make millions of stubs for free.

This is almost my thought on it as well. I might give up I just need Trout, Cole, Bellinger and Mookie. I just finished maxing out my SS CAP and I don’t know if I would even start Trout in my OF I might but it’s super borderline. I would rather keep my 700k stubs at this point and have free will to spend it on dope new cards that come out. I have Glaus at 3rd so while Chipper is better I have been taking with Glaus on HOF.

I could dig up posts of mine where I stated that the live series collection is the cheapest on opening pre-launch weekend. If not then, it's February.

People with unlimited resources have hoarded the high value cards and they are few an far between. If I had 1m idle stubs a month ago and wanted to avoid the 5m stub cap, I'd buy a bunch of Trouts and sit on em.

It's the 0.01% of the player base that has idle Trout, Acuna etc.

Get lucky, strike earlier in the game cycle (1st month), spend $$$, or get really lucky.

Good luck to everybody working on this.

Quickest way is to sell everything. Opening all your free packs and place sell orders (when it makes sense) or quick selling duplicates. Finish the inning programs for the 85-89 diamonds (keep ones you haven't got, sell rest). This also means selling other cards like event rewards and inning bosses. I sold Glaus for like 90k to help me get Trout. He's an upgrade at 3B personally but once i finish collections, Chipper will go there so may as well right?

With a little pack luck you'll get there fairly quickly.

If you are decent at BR you can get one of these guys by getting 12 wins in a run.

Otherwise use the methods discussed in here: investing, flipping, conquest

I bought 222 Tyler Glasnows when he was silver going for 800... When he went diamond I quick sold for 1.1 million. I finished the NL with that and got the legend 42s, already completed AL...

Honestly though you are going to need to sell off reward cards you get, sell off bosses, and sell off all Topps Nows that get released... Also do US conquest for those gold prospects and sell...

Sell rewards and save save save! Never buy packs.

play CQ US map sell off the prospect I believe they are still selling for 8-10k. Stubs add up playing moments. Sell off any duplicate and sell all sellable cards, Uniforms, Equip, Stadiums, etc...if you have time flip cards on the Market. I now only need Trout, Acuna and Cole. Only high diamond I packed was Betts that was opening weekend. If I listen to my own advice I would have finished live series already. I tend to buy packs when I know I shouldn't. Now when I want to buy packs, I will put the stubs toward investing players or put in a buy order for Trout knowing he will never sell for that price. I was able to get Tatis when he was cheap.
