3rd Inning Showdown

Did anyone else notice they released the 3rd Inning Showdown? It wasn’t there when I was playing yesterday around this time, but it’s there now.

How many outs with Eck; presuming 12?
RP mini bosses are the best; at least you can drain them. For starters it’s almost impossible because of check swing being nerfed this year

Win before getting 20 outs. I lost going in 15-9 by a score of 15-13. I went in 15-15 and finished second AB.

Yep it was on the calendar as of last night at 7 pm

The ultimate prize is the xp. You'll earn a few stubs and like 2 free packs along the way or something. So really just a change of pace if you're already done.
Thankfully I was like 50k short and the AS collection + showdown expedited my completion by a few hours. XP went by fast this inning imo (they really need to release a repeatable reward tier....5 pack every 50k xp after?)

4 standard packs and a small amount of stubs would be all you are playing for at that point.

I noticed it when I got home last night. Took me two try's. It was pretty easy. I lost first one 15-15 I went in with 8 runs. Second run I went in to the final game with 7 runs. Take pitches early to get ECK''s energy down.

Beat it on the first try. Went into the final boss 15-14. A nice way to get a chunk of XP.
