Best SS to use
-
I've used every SS available. I really liked Awards story but went back to LS Tatis because of cost. At parallel 5 Tatis is a budget beast, speed, defense and power. Banks should be good also but I personally can't hit with him

Story is the best SS in the game and will be a viable option the rest of the year. I’m sure someone will come here and tell me a CAP is better though.
CAP is better
-
I have a revolving door and I sometimes put chipper there even though his defense is pretty noticeable there. Get my better bats in at 3rd then
-
I like banks he has diamond defense and I hit well with him
-
Not sure Im good enough to get Story or wanna spend for him.
I use Tatis there and I love him, also a huge fan of Groshans and Mauricio
-
I cannot recommend the 96 OVR Trevor Story highly enough.
He's been glued to my lead-off spot since I picked him up and his production has been straight up insane -- through 66 at-bats, he's got a .424 avg. with 14 HRs, a slugging percentage of 1.106 and an OPS of 1.539. He has been my MVP so far through this season.
But if I didn't have him, I would be using Ronny Mauricio, who is on my bench, and I've had a lot of success with him at the plate. I can't say how good his fielding is, though -- as I've only used him as a pinch-hitter so far.

I can't aford him yet but i hear Story is the best
I can confirm this!! He is hands down the best!!!
-
Chipper but just got Glaus so I’m gonna give him a shot
-
Story was my very first Diamond and I still use him.
-
Tatis has been solid for me all year. Ronnie Mauricio ia pretty legit to.
-
I don’t hit well with that Story. Not sure why. Took me a while to be able to hit offline with him then I am batting like .100 with him in 30 online ABs.
SS been a tough spot.

I’ve been using random people at SS not really liking anyone. Who are the best ones to use there ?
jordan groshans, ronnie, robert from the A's, ernie banks are all very doable/free cards. I have the first three playing third/ss/2b for me and love them. also turner has been a monster in evetns batting close to 500 with 15 homeruns in maybe 100 at bats
-
Make a CAP. SS Hawk. For real... Best card in the game.
-
Tbh with all the new catcher options short is the spot for the CAP rn.
-
Mauricio or Groshens. Cant go wrong with either. Mauricio is a switch with pop.
-
Wander Franco bats better than his stats (Like Trae Turner low power but homers regularly) and is very solid defensively.

Banks has too slow of swing for me. Using 94 Ripken at SS atm.
Let us know how that ends up. He underwhelms every year honestly.

Any opinion on Tatis Jr. vs. Ernie Banks? I'm in a situation where I could sell Tatis Jr. to afford the last card in the NL Central needed to collect Ernie Banks. They are both SS, so it seems like if Ernie is better I'd probably end up swapping those two anyways. This is my first year playing the game, so I'm unsure if that's a stupid idea.
I love the banks card this year. He’s really good. Tatis has the edge on defense, though. I would not sell Tatis though because you’ll need him for collections, events, etc. If you try not to spend any stubs you’ll have enough for the collection eventually.

Ernie is a bench bat for lefties
-
Banks but only parallel 4 or five so it might take u a little while.
