Perfect perfect should be perfect timing perfect pci placement.

Anyone hit good/good foul balls? I have not yet.

This is why I say SDS have screwed up their hit tables. They have incorrect results in the perfect/perfect table.

I hate posts like these because I just end up arguing with some casuals and get banned for a week. I'll just educate you real quick and then you can do what you want with it...

The best hitters in the league FAIL 60-70% of the time. There's roughly 80-100k sq ft on a baseball field. Including foul territory. You have 9 player strategically placed on the field to cover that area. Players smash the ball by directly to someone or an elite fielder makes a amazing running catch etc. This is why the best players fail 60-70% of the time. Because defenders make plays too. Timing can be perfect and directly off the sweet spot of the barrel... but the pitch trajectory and the spin rate along with wind, all play a major role in the physics of the ball after contact. So "perfect-perfect" being an out is 100000% realistic and people need to stop complaining about it. If it's a big deal, go play RBI Baseball.

A lot of the info above directly applies to your 1, 2 and 3.

My son just absolutely tattooed a pitch in H2H, perfect/perfect.
    Result?
Foul ball. Kind of throws the notion of SQUARING a ball up PERFECTLY out the window. Line outs are fine. But foul?

    Other hilarious/physics defying Show anomalies:

    1. It is physically impossible to be early on a ball and hit it foul the other way (lefty hitting it foul to left field). Yet this result is somehow common.
    2. Conversly, it defies the laws of nature to be very late on a pitch and pull it foul. Your hands and bat position don't allow it.
    3. Sliders dont break hard to the throwing hand side. When they do, it's called a screwball. Same with a curve that breaks to the hand throwing side.

So don't put any stock in what the game tells you as far as timing.
You know when you're early or late.
And don't lose your shiz niz over perfect/perfect outs.
Einstein's head would explode if he saw such shenanigans.
At least yours don't go foul.

Neither of those things are physically impossible or defy the laws of physics. You obv haven't watched or played a lot of baseball in your life. Although I do agree the game can be silly at times, saying thats impossible is silly in itself.

    I played in college.
Do YOU understand physics and baseball or do you just like an argument?
If so, explain how you can get your bat out in front (early), and somehow push it foul the other way?
Or be late, with your bat angle behind you, and pull it?
    This should be good.

I’ve been getting p/p grounders a lot lately. Trout just did it in HOF RS game.

I wonder if the defender is sitting there watching the ball come at him and is like “ wow what a perfect ground ball”

Hahaha yes! I could have bet a billion dollars that you were going to say " I played in college" hahaha. I'm not going to go on a whole shpeel because honestly I don't want to. I have literally been through and seen thousands of at bats live in person and anytime the ball gets way in on your hands, there's a chance that ball is going to squirt off your bat the other way. ROUND BALL ROUND BAT. Things can happen. It's not physically impossible or defying the laws of physics.. Take a moment to think about how stupid that actually sounds.

Hey, sorry to jump into your argument thing, but I really love a puzzle. The first one’s easy:

If so, explain how you can get your bat out in front (early), and somehow push it foul the other way?

A left handed batter, sitting fastball, gets fooled on a change... the kind of fooled where he tries so hard to pull it back that he ends up with his left shoulder forward, his bat just above the hands actually touching that shoulder, and the bat head, just dragged through the zone, is still pointed at the dugout on the third base side. Well, if he made contact, he was way early, and that ball was probably left of the third base coach.

That second one, though. Yeah. I got nuthin.

So you've seen a left handed hitter swing early on a pitch, and hit a foul ball to... Left field?
    Wow!
That goes against every physics law in the universe!
If your argument is that a jam shot has a chance to dribble down the 3rd base line, then I apologize for not being clear.
    I meant solid contact.
    Like Polish home run contact.
You've seen- in person- a player be early on a pitch and hit it to the opposite field?!
Man, I have to go lay down.

    Good question!
However, he was still (in theory) late, correct?
He over-corrected resulting in (technically), late contact.
    Great observation!
I'm such a baseball nerd that I can talk about this all day.

Not you again. The OP literally says that line outs are fine so why do you constantly bring up line outs being possible when no one is complaining About line outs. Also, like I told you last time, there is no wind in DD so why do you keep bringing wind up? You are literally getting mad at people for things that they are not even saying.....again.

    Thank you, my man!
I just found it funny that my boy hit one perfect and foul.
    Then I'm getting arguments! Hahaha!

Most of the time I hit a perfect perfect it is right to someone. Most of the time the CPU hits it, it’s a hit. When they first introduced the perfect perfect they said it was something to reward you.

Perfect perfect doesn’t feel rewarding. And now it’s become something I try to avoid and something that should be rewarding is not something you should try and avoid

You DD casuals loves getting a pat on the back eh?...I don't know why most of you guys don't play more of RBI Baseball to get that arcade experience.

I’m sure a lot of people feel this way about perfect perfect but just because I don’t play ranked seasons and usually only play vs the CPU doesn’t make me a casual. I’ve been playing this game for years. Casual implies barely playing the game. I try and get at least 10 games in a day, usually more and usually complete the programs on those games well under time. The next time you go to say something ignorant to someone, think for a minute and then politely STFU

Pay no attention to him. He only plays Franchise and thinks that somehow makes him “better” than people that play DD. So he calls all DD players “casuals” because he feels the need to judge people for enjoying the game differently than he does. What he fails to realize is that it just makes him look like a dumb [censored].
