It's a simulation sports video game. The best hitters in the league fail 60-70% of the time. Perfect perfects are fine where they are at. It's only super annoying when it happens to you lol

I know pitcher stamina and confidence play a role and I know that i swing too much for sure but is pitcher confidence keeping all my good swings in the yard? and why? if a pitcher throws a "prefect" pitch and I square it up do I not leave the yard or even get a hit because the pitch was "perfect" and jus make weak contact instead? If I hit the same ball the same way as my opponent in the same spot but one pitch is "perfect" and the other is "early" is there a dfifference in contact or power? Is there a penalty for making contact outside the strike zone? and if so why?
or is it all jus a [censored] shoot and I should "git gud"

Swing matters, Certain swings generate better exit velos. The pitcher confidence is the most important when it comes to the rng side of things. IF they have high confidence then you may generate more outs than you think you should.

Hitting for me is easy as hell when I'm good I win when I'm bad I play other games .... Seriously sometimes my head just can't concentrate seeing the ball at the drop point mostly when I'm tired and I'm getting frustrated .... When I'm angry I need to turn it off or it's just a slow painful downfall

See this is why this community is trash. This 1st year players is asking for advice and idiots attack him. The truth is the game rewardse early swings and horrible pci placement over good or perfect. The best thing is to say screw custom practice, play the cpu on allstar to start, then jump to HOF. And make sure you play teams with great pitchers and have good velocity. It helps better then custom practice and losses don’t matter
