Apparently the PS4 pro can only display 1080p or 4K(2160p). Why does mlbts give the option to run the game at 1440 if the PS4 pro doesn’t handle that resolution? What is happening when 1440 is selected? Is it just running at 1080p and then upscaling? Wouldn’t that increase input lag?

    How about this:
What is your all’s set up? Are you on a monitor? TV? PS4 or Pro? Do you set the resolution to faster, balanced, or sharper (or whatever it is called)?

Monitor, Pro, Faster. I saw little/no difference in gameplay smoothness by switching to a Pro, to be honest. I originally bought the Pro when God Of War came out, because I'd just bought a 4K TV.

So my Sony x900f has a 40ms input lag at 1080p but a 24ms input lag at 2160p. Despite the fact that it is choppier (probably because it dips to 30fps), would my best bet be to play at 2160? If it takes an upper 90’s fastball 40 to 50ms to reach the plate, I essentially have 0 time to react if I use 1080p. Thanks.
