Pulled Trout, keep or sell?
-
Hi all title says it all. I was opening some standard packs i got from conquest late last night and I autoflipped the pack and started selling the jerseys and bronzes and then like WOAH there was Trout.
Anyways I was wondering if I should keep one of the best cards in the game who is better than anyone else on my team or if I should sell him off for no reason at all
any advice would be greatly appreciated xoxo

What are you looking to do?
- If you are looking to complete collections, keep him -- you just acquired THE gate keeper to finish collections.
- Building you team? Keep him and play him. He is a really good player.
His value will increase, unless he totally tanks (and he shouldn't). So by holding on to him, uncollected, you get to play with him and wait to see his market value.
-
Congrats, still no luck on pulling him.
Are you going to try for the LS collection at all, if yes - keep
Do you want the best player available for the OF? If yes - keepHowever if there are other cards you want then yes you could sell him and build around your team as you see fit. Personally I would hold onto him because you never know if you will get him back.

I would say keep purely because he's been so much fun to use. I'm not great at this game but that card can get it done, even with me pressing the buttons. I've been quite unlucky with pulls this year except that I did pull Trout, so can't complain at all really.
-
Sell if you aren't doing the collection soon. His price is up due to stub sale. It will start to come down as the year goes on.
-
I pulled him this morning and sold him. I agree with the poster above. Sell now why the price is up.

I thoroughly enjoyed the snark level in this comment. I'm assuming you already know what you're doing so I'm going outside the box -- Exchange him for AL West TA2 progress.

That is a great idea! I would absolutely do that except unfortunately I have already gotten 100% on the AL West TA2 and did all the exchange missions for that. But you do have me thinking... Maybe I should wait and exchange him so I can be the first to get the AL West TA3 done.

I always have the same answer to these. If you want the collections, keep, if not, sell
-
Yeah the only reason to keep him is for the live collection series (Ortiz/Chipper)
From a pure production standpoint you are better off selling and getting the stubs and using a guy like Torii Hunter you can get for free in team affinity -
I kept him. I’m doing the chipper set and was proud of the pull. No way I’ll ever have that many stubs at once. Don’t have time to flip cards. You get a free 95 overall pitcher. Not the best in the world but definitely not the worst I’ve used. Don’t think you can go wrong either way.

Quick sell is the way to go. No listing necessary and an easy 5,000 stubs in your account.
