I hit a 3 run bomb on a SH*T PCI placement to win on a Contact swing...after getting no hit for 9 innings and having several nearly perfect contacts. This game is garbage.
Same happened to me last night. Won one game, lost the other. Was over 800 for both.

I personally had faith based on seasons past but the silence has started to become deafening. This issue, the framerate lag on any Xbox that isn't a Series X, and the exploits and glitches to get XP fast are all seriously seriously ridiculous issues when you factor in the time they've had to address them and at least tell people they're working on them.

I really hope they fix this so we can all play BR again. BR has been pretty trash after 6 wins. Turn off contact swing if you are still so clueless right now but know it creates 120 mph exit velocity... come on bruh... "We know there is a problem, but we will still leave it in there even though we have other alternatives like turning it off while we have time to work on the mechanics." SDS could look 20X smarter if they turned off contact swing 3 weeks ago. This is embarrassing on many many levels. This is the definition of stupid beyond imagination... You can turn it off while you work on it if you already admit it is broken.

Honestly, the contact isn't the problem here. it's bad feed back 100%. The big PCI exists in the first inning when your pitcher is most vulnerable. After that it's up to your bullpen pretty much and the PCI shrinks from that point.

I’ve heard this before, that the feedback you see from your opponents swings isn’t accurate. Very early hr with the ball on the edge of the inner pci. “But the opponent feedback is inaccurate they’re working on it”
However, I get plenty of garbage hits and home runs from contact swings as well, is my own feedback inaccurate also?

I'm honestly shocked I'm pretty sure by this time last year they had already done like 2 or 3 gameplay patches. They haven't done a single one this year.

In my opinion this can be reasonable fixed with just one change - make all three buttons a normal swing in competitive mode. But not necessarily a normal swing - let me elaborate.
We have high contact, low power guys. All three buttons should be contact for them.
High power, low contact guys. All three buttons are a power swing. Have you ever seen Miguel Sano slow down his ferocious swing to try to doink a single over the infield?
Balanced players - they get normal swings.I get that "competitive mode" is supposed to be about giving us, the players control, when input is what matters, and when you can take the gold Sano card and hit a 110mph [censored] missile using a "slowed down contact focused swing" - you're actually ending up doing the exact opposite of the goal you're intending to create out of it.

Contact swing is not broken... geez... if you test it then you would realize that.
