Couple things..overrated/underated is a pretty relative term. I don't think Baez gets the credit for what he does actually. But, whatever.
2nd thing..Baez knew exactly what he was doing. 2 choices..take the automatic out if 1B just steps on the base or, what he did, let that 1B chase him back to the plate and give his teammate a chance at scoring. He knew exactly what he was doing and it worked.
No matter who you root for you should give an instinctive/baseball-smart player like Baez credit for exploiting a terrible defense like he did. Most players would have just taken the easy out..some might even call that lazy. Baez is far from lazy.

- Keep going to first base, get tagged out. Inning over, or
- Tip-toe back towards the plate and see what happens.
Should it have worked? No. But it did. Enjoy the absurdity.

Good point. Although it would be a great opportunity for the designers to open up another loop hole for zany impossible animation in order to control an outcome. It happened once in real life, but I could see it turning into another bunt cheese effect in this game.

I said nothing about it being Javy's instincts. You are on here arguing a point that means nothing. Why do you care if people like Javy? What drives your hatred for the Cubs? Is no one paying the Sox any attention again? I would feel bad for Sox fans in Chicago if they did not hate on the Cubs. The Sox do get less attention no matter how good they are. But I don't because you take that fact out on the Cubs and their fans. The White Sox have a decent team this year, talk about that and stop worrying about Javy and any positive comments that he gets. You will be much happier with baseball.
