You shouldn't be able to hit any homeruns with contact swing period. No one is complaining about contact swings being bloopers. That happens. You shouldn't be able to hit a 107 MPH liner with contact swing
Why do you think that? you don't hit 107 mph exit velos unless you perfect/perfect them and you most certainly should hit those. Again you think exit velos are better or the same as normal swing because people are actually using contact swing but they aren't. Do you think tony gwyn and those types didn't hit 107 mph balls at people?

You obviously don't understand the swing types in the game. I'll slow this down for you. The way it has always worked in MLB The Show is there are three swing types Contact, Normal, and Power. Contact swing boosts the PCI size but reduces exit velocity. Normal swing maintains the same PCI size and has no exit velocity boost. Power swing will reduce the PCI size but provide a boost to exit velocity.
For some reason contact swings are producing the same exit velocities as normal and power swings. This is a problem because there is the increased PCI size still for contact swing. The existence of the contact swing is to represent a hitting shortening their swing to improve chances of contact, but sacraficing power since he's not swinging as hard. It's created an imbalance between the three swing types, and people are using contact swing in an unintended manner getting unintended results.
I'll play along with your completely irrelevant Tony Gwynn example. If Tony Gwynn was making a normal swing or swinging out of his shoes he could hit a ball 107mph. If he was making a contact swing he would never hit a ball 107mph.

On HOF+ it is blatantly obvious when someone is using a contact swing through the feedback. On allstar it's tougher to notice but if you play this game a lot you know what the PCI size should be

I've been hitting HRs with Contact swing since I started play online in 17. I am not playing this year so I don't know if it is easier this year or not, maybe it's because of all the new XBOX players, using Contact more. But the fact is you've always been able to hit HRs with Contact. Which means this isn't likely to change.
Once in a while? Sure whatever. Dudes are out here hitting 3 HR's a game with contact swing this year. It's broken

It was me. I'm just so sick of the contact swings in this game. I'm still not thrilled about it happening at all, because contact swings are meant to put the ball in play/ foul off with 2 strikes whatever, but the fact is you shouldn't see multiple homeruns per game on contact swings. I can at least live with 1 contact swing homerun every once in a while

Its actually funny because today I played a guy whose entire team has ridiculous BA and of course he was contact swinging. But I noticed about 3 innings in when he hadn't hit any HR he reverted back to normal swinging because his PCI got a lot smaller.. HAHA you fooker
