I could definitely see Muncy getting it. Can play 3 IF positions too.
I do not think it will be Muncy cause he has a 42 card.

Those are just 88s though. I definitely see where you’re coming from but a 95-96 Muncy is a big enough jump from an 88 in my opinion.

I have his 42 card at level 3 already, I think that with the level ups this year it makes a difference if they would give another good this early. We will see. I hope they do give him the monthly.

those are the batting stat leaders for so far in may. i can almost guarantee it wont be arenado, so disregard him
Why should we disregard Arenado. If he does not get a Topps now for 4 consecutive games with a HR then he should be in consideration for a POTM card, at least so far.
And remember folks, a lot of people told us he would not hit as well once he left Colorado.

If Are ago doesn’t get. a free MA card this week his KS will be back over 90 next week. If the LS goes over 90 he will not get a POTM card because ...redundant.
That LS card is about to either skyrocket or crater in value. I am a Rockies fan. I lived Arenado in the purple. Do not bet against Arenado’s LS card.

as has been every year in the past, he'll most likely get a 99 towards the end of the year. sds typically doesn't give too many cards several different 99s especially if their LS is one of the more sought after ones. could be wrong though

The ultimate lightning card will be given to 1 of the 2 people that MLB names POTM. The rest of the cards are typically non-diamonds that have really good months.

A few ideas: Ohtani (again), Muncy, Castellanos, the Giants pitching staff, Burnes (again), Rojas, Kelly, Posey
Ohtani and Burnes will not get a POTM card again this year unless they break their tradition. I don't even know if they repeat past winners which would eliminate Muncy and Castellanos as well.
Rojas seems possible as does Posey.

Wondering whether to continue my pursue of Soriano or wait for the lighting May player and start collection May players instead
I've had soriano for a couple weeks and i don't like him. I think righty/righty is almost impossible to turn on anything inside. I will be benching him when i get jackie and using him against leftys or pinch runner...
-
Just got Soriano yesterday, I'm interested to see how he performs this weekend. I hit pretty well with his gold early. I'm hoping he rakes. I'm twelve 42's from Jackie.

Vladdy Jr? He's now #1 in WAR

It's not always the MLB named player of the month, but it is the majority of the time. For example if Trout would have won AL player of the month for April they probably would have still given the lightning card to Buxton over Acuna. The only player of the month cards ever that were diamond live series to start that month in this game were Verlander 18, Yelich 18 JRam 20, and maybe Goldschmidt 18, not 100% sure on him

This would be a 96 so i think they would do that. Buxton had literally just went diamond and they gave him another

It is possible, I just do not think it will happen.
