Baseball Memories

With Covid restrictions starting to loosen up and the ability to go to games again is more of a real possibility for people I'm interested to hear what some people best memories are at a baseball game.
I've got 2:
1: When I was younger I saved up money from my first job and bought my parents and myself tickets to see the second to last game at Shea Stadium where Johan Santana pitched a Complete Game shutout. It was a great experience and great atmosphere at the game. Of course the Mets ripped our hearts out the next day but what do you expect as a Met fan?2: Brought my wife to Mets opening day 2015 which was her first time going to a game. She loved it and got super into it and now even has her own favorite players on the team and always asks when we can go to more games.

In 1996, I was at Kaufman Stadium when Cal Ripken Jr. broke the world record for most consecutive games played. Was in left field GA (when that was a thing) when he did his victory lap around the warning track.

You must be thinking Camden Yards in Baltimore. I was there down the third base line. I was 12 and it was the most electric atmosphere I've ever felt even to this day. I literally never seen my dad cry before that day. It was his 2,131st game.

All in-person in-stadium (w/ the exception of #1)
- Watching Nolan Ryan strike out Rickey Henderson for 5,000 ... while at the top of a Wet 'n Wild slide across the highway.
- Watching Vlad hit for the cycle
- Staying for the whole 18 innings of BOS@TEX in 2001.
- Game #1 of the 2001 WS
- 3rd row behind home plate for a 2012 ARI@LAD game
- My Dusty Baker/Adam Dunn story from the other day.
- Attending a 2002 game at the Metrodome w/ my sister and literally getting the 6th from last Doug Mientkiewicz bobblehead of the day.
- Attending a game at Marlins Park in 2015 completing the 30 for 30 attendance of all active parks (Have since visited Truist and Globe Life 2.0 to keep the streak updated.)
BONUS: 2013 NCAA Super Regional LSU/Oklahoma Game 1 featuring Aaron Nola vs. Jon Gray

Nope. June 14, 1996.... Game #2216
Maybe there is some "world record" I don't know about but he broke the MLB record Sept 6th 1995. 2,131 games

Yea it was pretty unforgettable. I had like 3 sips of beer that night.. It was awesome hahaha

I’m no order some fun moments for me:
- being at last game in Kingdome. I enjoyed that building (95 comes alive)
- being at first game and series at Safeco, now TMobile.
- being at 2001 All Star game and watching Cal’s HR come at me. It landed short of stands but almost, almost. And of course Ichiro.
- being at a game and being able to chant “A-Fraud!”
- Being at a Dodgers home game when they lose
- At MLB weekend in Vegas ages ago I was on first base side field level and when I went to take a pic of The Kid he saw me and flipped his glove.
- All other games I was at, both AAA and MLB. Just loving being at the park. Miss it.
I’m still upset that I didn’t go to the 19 AS game in CLE since I was living in CBUS at the time. Those Clippers games where great though.
Anyone else want to visit all the parks?

Rock on man those are all awesome. Since you've been to all the active parks which would you say is your favorite and a must see?

Though I was very young and the memory was fuzzy, being in the ballpark the day Lou Brock set the single season stolen base record.

My all time favorite time at a ballpark was at an expos game in 83 with my dad. The Expos used to do the outfield throws right field and left field and the center fielder would catch with the bull pen catcher. I dont have a clue why it happened, im sure my father had something to do with it but I got to play catch with Tim Raines during the 7th inning stretch. That made me a full blown Expos fan and a huge fan of Raines. I still have the powder blue jersey he gave me during that game.
I remember being in absolute awe of watching Raines and Dawson firing the ball back and forth from their positions. Such great arms though Raines was quite a bit less than Dawson. Not sure why but Cromartie was in center that day. Back then, Dawson was a fantastic center fielder.

I was at the Kingdome for ‘The Double’. I was 9 years old! Also my 12 year old little league team won the state championship so we were rewarded by being announced at a Mariners game. Orioles were the visiting team. A wild ball rolled to my feet, I look up and Cal Ripken Jr. has his glove up waiting for me to throw it to him. So we played catch for a few minutes. Pretty cool.

#1 is PNC and it's not close. (I'm more of a city guy which is why PNC > Oracle/PacBell). The way the ballpark fits in with the skyline, the bridge, and the river creates a backdrop that is nothing short of magical. Throw in above average in-game entertainment, a decent selection of grub and a concourse that's usually not crowded (
) and it's just about perfect.Other superlatives:
Citizens Bank: The other Pennsylvania park isn't too shabby either.
Minute Maid: Best PA Announcer in the majors.
Coors: HUGE, but fun
T-Mobile: Underrated, especially if you sit on the 1B side.
Fenway/Wrigley/Dodger: mandatory for the historical value
Trop: not the best by any means but they try REALLY REALLY hard and that counts for a lot.Also, if you're a park connoisseur, be sure to find a way to go to at least one day/night doubleheader at nearby parks. It's totally worth it if you can swing it:

Dodger/Angel
Oakland/Oracle
Camden/Nationals
Trop/loanDepot -
