Is the $100 Digital Deluxe Edition worth it at this point?

Not sure if I should go with the $100 version for the 25k plus packs or buy the standard version and buy $30 in stubbs.
What are the free pre-order diamonds going for on the market? How much does $30 get you in stubbs this year?
Also, how good is this game on PS5? Noticeable difference or nah? Thinking about trying to buy one. Thanks.
I got the digital ultra deluxe with bacon for $100 when the game dropped. If you're buying it then, I’d say it might have been worth it since there wasn’t as much content to get cards. Plus off the bat I got a decently competitive team. A month in though, I’m only using a few of the 42 cards in my line up. Most of them were acquired through programs.
So right now I don’t think dropping $100 gets you as much as when the game dropped. I don’t think it’s worth it.

If you sell the Preorder 42 cards I would get digital deluxe. Two of them are worth much more than $30 in stubs at the moment. Even if you plan on keeping them, you get pretty decent value out of the extra 30-40 dollars

I sold my 2 42 players for over 30k each a week into the game, so that was an extra 60k. So 30 bucks for 85k plus anything you pull from the packs. To me it was worth it from a stub count point of view.

i think a couple of the 42 cards now sell for over 50k, that wont be the case when they start dropping these packs in the game. So figure 125k off the rip plus the packs. The real value was early access tho

You lucky S.O.B. Sony never sent me bacon when I ordered mine. Is it too late to put in a support ticket?

I think the Deluxe Edition is worth the price at preorder, but definitely not at this point.
-
I would just get that one that includes the PS5 upgrade assuming PS5's supply chain ever catches up.

It’s your money so do what you want with it but I would never recommend buying anything other than standard edition since stubs are so easy to acquire in game. $40 extra for 88 Diamond that’s not even their final card seems like bait to me.
As far as PS5 is concerned I don’t have one yet but seems like majority of people that do are still playing older PS4 games anyway so you’re not missing out on much until they start dropping next gen exclusivesThe biggest difference this year for a late starter is you can't go back and collect on the previous innings; the bonus might be worth it for the 2 TA42 that comes with it.

Gameplay feels fine. The load times are noticeably shorter than last years version on PS4 (I cant compare MLB 21 since I haven't bothered booting up my ps4 for it).
By the sounds of your original post, it seems like you'd end up spending money on stubs anyway so why not just forgo stub buying and get the digital deluxe version?
Selling the higher priced 42 cards will get you way more plus you get double daily log in rewards (basically free single pack every 5th day) --- Its like $20 for 24,000 stubs and $50 for 64,500 stubs. Cal Ripken and Willie May's sell now is at 62,000 so you'd net like 110,000 in stubs if you pick both and sell both. So for $30 bucks upgrade you get 135,000 stubs + double log ins. Eventually these packs should be issued as a reward for inning program progress or as a conquest map thing at some point.

Outside of the original game purchase I don't put any more money into the game. I keep my players looking good, fly and all that, but no dough....
Sounds like digital deluxe is where it's at. Appreciate it
