I have learned never to go to a discussion board of something you enjoy. Much like Star Wars, MMA and Rick and Morty the fandoms are toxic lol
But I still enjoy them immensely
Call criticism toxic if you like
Never called criticizing toxic, never called you toxic, saying there are toxic people saying toxic things on here. You wanna own it go ahead. Your post is what it is. You have some points. If your happy with the message then carry on and upward.

Nobody has fun. Nobody enjoys lining out when the game says PERFECT. Nobody enjoys fooling the hitter and giving up a home run. Nobody likes pressing R2 but they have to or else they get quick pitched. Nobody really enjoys playing your game, but the prospect of acquiring cool new super improved better player cards keeps us coming around. It’s quite similar to the life we are all trying to take a break from.
Speak for yourself, I really enjoy the game.
You have unrealistic expectations... -
The game is as hard as it’s ever been. I enjoy it. It takes real practice and prep to play the game at a high level. Just be humble and have fun. Your expectations are the root of your disappointment. Only God could make something so perfectly imperfect.

I like the game as well. Do I wish the servers were better of course, but I just play the game around them.

I'm having a blast. Can't wait to finished up inning 2, might take a shot at Franchise while waiting on inning 3.
Honestly I wish the xp requirements for inning programs weren't so high, so that I would have more time for other modes.
As it is now, with my schedule, I have to concentrate on the inning program first so I don't miss out.
Currently sitting at around 450K. -

The worst type of person is one who thinks that a perfect swing means a homerun/XBH every single time. Literally the worst.....

One of my favorite baseball anecdotes of all time comes from Tony Gwynn in the book Men at Work. He talks about one day loving his swing and going 0-4 then the next day having terrible swings and hitting 2 HR. For him, he was more concerned about the science of hitting and perfecting his swing, not about the outcome that particular AB.

Tell me where I said that perfects should be an xbh ever time. I submit that the ones who respond to this criticism with such an unrealistic extreme as the worst.

Yeah, I can't play online -- it's just a HR fest and I don't have the time to invest to "git good" with the sticks. I find hitting too hard and unrewarding.
Plus the quick pitching/R2 thing is real, and sucks.
Having said that, I've spent no $ and am only Cole and Trout away from completing the live collection. I like collecting the cards for the hell of it. Reminds me of the Topps Sticker Books in the 80's. Wish they had more creative UI's for the collections, though, maybe mimicking those sticker books.
