One sign of being a casual you know what is playing The Show on a TV.
I keep reading this and it makes no sense
"You know what is playing The Show on a TV" ...what does this even mean?
Probably a typo. Remove “what” from the sentence.
You know is playing the show on a TV ...sounds even worse
You’re right. But this is the dude’s whole sentence:
“One sign of being a casual you know what is playing The Show on a TV.” So if you leave out the what and add a couple commas, it reads like this: One sign of being a casual, you know , is playing The Show on a TV. Obviously, I’m just speculating.
LoL ok I guess -

LG 65" CX Oled. Don't look back.
I heard the LG CX was good to game on but it's too expensive I'm on a tight budget so I'm thinking about picking up a TCL 5 Series specifically the s535. TV is 4K 60 but I have an Xbox series s and I heard that it doesn't support 4K it upscales 4K though
The 55 inch can be had less than 1400 and 65 inch less than 2k.

LoL ok I guessOh no, a comma has cause so much confusion....I apologize to the noobs and casuals and DD players alike. The sentence should of went "One sign of being a casual, you know what".....should of meant "one sign of being a casual NOOB". Noob was the missing word, I figured from my past work most of you would of figured it out.

I think because he owns a PC that makes him special. Almost like millions of people don't own them lol. He's prob the only one to ever own one on these forums so hes cool ya know.... He can say what he wants bc he isn't a casual noob bc he owns a PC. Although he does own a console too so i think he hates himself too? Idk how that works, I don't have a tiny dck.

How many of you game on a TV and how manly game on a gaming monitor? I'm curious as which is better obviously a gaming monitor is going to be better with 1ms response time but can a gaming TV be viable to play on also?
I've been playing on an older TV, and I was constantly late on every swing, even on game mode. My daughter had a newer but much smaller Samsung tv. I borrowed it and what a difference! I'm hitting much better now. She was nice and gave it to me!

I have the same exact tv and I switched from a monitor to this. Way better than the monitor.

Correct.

I've never played on a monitor, but I'm skeptical that the difference is significant enough to be worth moving from my 60 inch flat screen TV. If that puts me at a disadvantage, then I'm OK with it. There are plenty of flaws in my game that have nothing to do with timing, so I would likely still suck either way.
-
I switch back and forth between my 2K monitor & my 4K UHD/HDR TV. I can definitely feel the response time difference between my monitor and my TV and my hitting struggles because of it however sometimes I just wanna look at the upgraded visuals and colors on my TV so I deal with it.

Well said lol. The specs on TVs right now are blowing monitors away when it comes to next gen. Would you rather play on a 60 inch or 27 inch lol.... My TVs input lag is under 8ms on game mode. Show me a monitor with that and speakers and hdmi 2.1 lol you're smart for waiting. When they release monitors that can compete, I'll be buying one
-
Definitely depends on how high of difficulty your trying to compete at I think. I played rtts and just here and there was fine doing tv for the show. But once I tried to make the jump to legend or even all star difficulty against nothing but World Series players with insane 300/&@$ records I noticed nothing but the top five best pitchers which all your gonna see at a certain point, the reason I say this is because once all your seeing is a parallel 5 Nolan Ryan I don’t care who you are your not gonna be early on a 102mph on the top right against R/R with a tv probably it will glitch and you won’t see it. I strongly recommend a top 4K tv or gaming monitor at this stage in the game. Other wise the animations will release the ball and boom it hits the pitchers mitt without a moment to do anything but watch the strike and if you try toying with that your gonna mess up your timing because all you can do is wait for off speed and work the count to try and get the good pitch to swing at only to have a well placed fastball blow by you for the strike or swing at the heat outside the zone or foul it off only to be in the same miserable situation. Coming from someone who was undefeated for a long time and only plays World Series stick to the 2005 monitor until you can get a tv that has a respectable response time with a newer console or B get a newer console lol either way you going for ps4 on tv isn’t the way to go!
